What's new with your little babe this week? How far along are you? 25 weeks! His lungs are continuing to develop and he's still getting chubby in there. Also my uterus is the size of a soccer ball - which sounds terrifying.
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? DH and his friends finished the hardwood floor (click together) in the nursery! We also built the crib last night (WTF with all the pieces). I bought more storage and a rug over the weekend. I'm looking forward to the nursery being mostly done very soon! I love sitting in there and imagining what it'll be like with him here.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Kicks are crazy and his rolls are starting to get uncomfortable. Otherwise I still have some acid reflux, even with my prescription. Sometimes I feel like I have first trimester nausea so I'm hoping it'll stop at some point. I took out my belly ring today so I'm feeling a little sad and a little old, but mostly amazed by my growing bump.

GTKY: What TV show are you binge watching? We almost always have Friends on Netflix. Otherwise I haven't had the patience lately to sit down and watch much TV. I'm trying to re watch the last seasons of shows with premieres coming up (like HTGAWM and Jane the Virgin) but I'm nesting too hard right now.

25 weeks! Baby is the size of a prairie dog!
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival?
Still just nesting in general. Will be cleaning out the closets tonight. Pretty much all that's left out of the big things to do around the apt are tidying up our basement space, blinds, and baseboards. Then I will focus all my energy on the nursery.

RuPaul's DragRace! We never watch reality tv, but this show has everything about it that makes reality tv great. Mild drama, talented artists fun challenges, and really great tongue in cheek humor!

Still just working on finishing house renovations so we can move in and I can really start nesting!

I thought DS was active in the womb but k think this baby has him beat! I have an AP and still feel him all the time. Kicks are starting to get higher up now too.

I watch Fixer Upper anytime it's on, I sit through the marathons HGTV has every time!
What's new with your little babe this week? How far along are you? 24 weeks!! Baby is the size of a Cantaloupe or a Philly Cheesesteak mmmm.
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival? I picked up a few things last week at Babies R Us. Some towels and washcloths, waterproof bibs, a swaddleme 3 pk and some hangers for his closet.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Feeling great now that I don't feel sick at all anymore but I'm having a lot more aches and pains now. My belly feels so heavy some days and I've had a lot of pulling cramps. I am also disliking that I have the hip pain already at night, I felt like this came later with my first pregnancy. I wake up around 3-5 every morning with sore hips.
When's your next appointment? Friday, October 7th which works out nicely because I took the whole day off and it's Thanksgiving weekend in Canada so I get an extra long weekend.
GTKY: What TV show are you binge watching (stolen from Friday/Sunday) Nothing at the moment. The last thing we binge watched was Stranger Things.

23 weeks. He is the size of a Barbie doll, lol. Crazzy how big he is getting. I think every week I tell DH, I remember when he was the size of a PEA!
What are you doing this week to prepare for your LO's arrival?
We finished our registry (for the most part) and finished painting the nursery. I guess we need to buy a crib or something to go in there.

Kick Kick Kick! Baby is just a kickin'! Don't really have anything out of the ordinary. I feel like every week just flies by. I just want time to slow down a little more. I have the nesting bug in full force, but by the time I get home from work and make dinner, it is all I can do to stay awake until bed time. H is a saint though, he gets off work early, so I make a list for him to do and he does it before I get home. I feel bad because I always have a long honey-do list for him to do.
When's your next appointment?
Oct 18th for the Glucose test. I tried to get mine in the morning, but they were fresh out of appointments, so I had to take a 11am appointment. The doctor said not to worry about fasting or anything, but I call that lies, because the lady at the front desk said to not eat sugar that morning and to not eat within 2 hours. Not sure if anyone else ha heard anything from their doctors... I'm just not looking forward to it.

When I run on the treadmill I watch Friends, I just started it and because I am not running as much, I am only on season 2. At night H and I watch Boy Meets World. We bought the DVD set because I got the itch to watch it, and couldn't find it anywhere online. We are almost through season 5.
DH, my sister, my mom, and I did a whole bunch of nesting activities this past weekend. We rearranged the two kids' rooms and prepared for when DD2 moves in with DD1 (and switches to a toddler bed....OH MY). Thankfully we aren't doing that until early Jan.
Then DH just sprung on me 2 days ago that he thinks we ought to sell our house while the market is really good here. He thinks there is going to be a recession soon, which I don't disagree with, but I was planning to sell and buy in 2 years, like we'd talked about...nothing like being spontaneous with your third kid on the way!
I've been feeling the baby a whole lot more, and some kicks up a little higher I have an AP). DH felt the baby for the first time the other night! That makes my heart happy.
Also, heartburn is setting in....oh, how I dread it each pregnancy. And true to the old wives tale, both of my girls came out with a ton of hair, the second even more than the first!
My next appt is a regular 24 weeks checkup on Oct. 5. I suppose I'll schedule the GD test at that point.
DH and I don't really binge watch anything, but we usually watch the news every night and we like to watch The Voice. I guess it's binge watching when we have 10-15 episodes on our DVR!
25 +1 since I'm a day late to the party. Baby is the size of a cauliflower and kicking ALL the time. I don't love the pain of getting kicked in my cervix, but I love knowing she's having fun in there.

Calling HR to talk about maternity leave planning and figuring out how/when to get baby added on to everything. We're going to make an attempt at finishing the registry.
I had a fun few hours of frantic nesting a few weeks ago. I was scrubbing the stove and cleaning behind the fridge because I felt like the baby needed it. I was getting ready to scrub the inside of the trash and recycling cans when my husband arrived and informed me the baby could care less. It sure didn't feel that way.

I got so lightheaded yesterday that I couldn't see or move off the ground where I was sitting. That was shitty. I'm still experiencing n&v and waiting for that to subside.
