WAYDTGKU: HIO EOD starting yesterday, bbt, pnv, preseed all the things
R/R: 4 years ago tonight DH proposed in Boston. Left him a note as it's not a date I expect him to remember. And he just sent the sweetest text. That boy gives me all the feels. Already having the changeover CM just 7 days into this cycle so it's all about BD'ing for the next million weeks.
CS/Q: naahhhhh
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I know this will get me so much backlash, but I kind of hate fall. And by kind of, I mean I really do. I just, **sigh** everything's dying. Sure, it's pretty for a hot week or so there, but then it's dead and on the ground and the sky is gray (at least here on the east coast) for like a million months. I will say that while I don't love fall, I do enjoy running in the fall. Sorry to disappoint. I know how many fall enthusiasts are reading this while drinking their pumpkin spiced everythings right now, completely baffelled thinking I'm an alien.
WAYDTGKU: BD EOD starting tomorrow, PNVs, temping, checking CM and CP, green tea and primrose oil
R/R: DH got up at 4:30 and woke me up then both of us had trouble getting back to sleep so my temp was skewed this morning. And of course this happened when I'm trying so very hard to stay away from caffeine....at least I have my 1 cup of green tea in the morning
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Does just snuggling up on the couch with DH and watching TV count? Otherwise, I would say getting to spend time with my mom while my dad and DH go to football games on Sunday
"It's time to try defying gravity."

R/R: My kitchen is torn apart - cabinets (just the bottom ones are left really) are empty. And those that are left are coming out on Sunday. It's going to be a long month or so before the new kitchen is done. Luckily we just were informed of a meal prep service that does bulk veggies/meats/starches. We can grill and crockpot, but it'll be nice to have no clean up when we don't have a place to clean!
CS/Q: I've read a couple people say they take their OPKs in the afternoon. But does that matter? I was going to start tomorrow with FMU.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? PUMPKIN PICKING. DH and I drive about an hour to an awesome pumpkin patch that is huge! They hide golden pumpkins to find, and of course I'm like a child and always try to find them. They also have craft stores which I love. I got our Christmas wreath for the front door and an awesome catnip toy last year. It's just an all around fun day for us!
Me: 28 DH :28 Married 12/5/2015 4 fur babies - 2 cats, 2 dogs TTC July 2016
@berg that is super sweet, my H NEVER remembers stuff like that!
@marybpoppins What kind of OPKs do you have? I believe with the CBAD you are supposed to use FMU, but with others (like Wondfos) you may not detect your surge with FMU because it supposedly peaks late morning/mid day. I actually have to take several in one day to even catch mine because it's a short surge, but this is not the case for everyone.
Month/Cycle: 4/3

WAYDTGKU: waiting
R/R: Another blood draw today... doctor doesn't want to meet with me until it's 0. Look lady, I have questions!
CS/Q: Nah. Just started temping again. Yay?
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I would say football. We don't do the pumpkin patch thing or anything... I definitely plan to when (if?) we have kids.
R/R: Rave: I must be pretty basic, but alllll of this pumpkin spice stuff in the stores is right up my alley.
CS/Q: This whole cervix position thing. Any pointers? Specifically determining open/closed. Also any techniques for retrieving CM? I have read TCOYF but I am looking for a real life explanation!
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?nEating everything fall. Candy Corn, Carmel Apples, Cider, Pumpkin Donuts and driving around seeing the leaves. Halloween is also our first wedding anniversary #ilovefall (Halloween was a Saturday and the venue had a cancelation so we squeezed in. I'm not that obsessed to naturally pick it)
@marybpoppins In my experience, you're supposed to follow the specific instructions on the box. One brand I used said do not use first morning urine as it can take LH some time to show in your system and therefore afternoon is better. Another brand said first morning urine or urine that has been held for 3-4 hours.
@berg I don't think you're an alien... I feel that way about Spring. cannnnot stand it and people look at me crosseyed when I say that.
TTC our first child I'm 26, DH is 32 Paraguard removed August 2016 Using OPKs, FF, Preseed, Temping, CM
WAYDTGKU: Preseed in FW, BD, PNV, temping, tracking CM & CP
R/R: DH woke me up at 5am trying to reach my water bottle on my end table. Knocked my thermometer on the floor under the bed. So then I had to turn the lights on, get out of bed and find it. So my temp was messed up today when I got up an hour later.
CS/Q: nope.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Corn mazes with the family. Really all the fun activities that happen in fall here.
@marybpoppins living through renovations is nothing like TV leads you to believe. Hang in there it will be worth it in the end!
@lulu8109 DH woke me up this morning too! I'm lifting my ban on caffeine this morning because I don't know how I'll make it through my day. @berg I'm stopping to get a pumpkin spice latte, I will get a medium to make me feel better about the nasty things you said about fall. Lol
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I know this will get me so much backlash, but I kind of hate fall. And by kind of, I mean I really do.
@berg, just when I thought we could be really good friends... and yes, I just might be enjoying my pumpkin spice coffee, and pumpkin spice baked oatmeal, and my pumpkin harvest crisp chobani yogurt later. all kidding aside, happy proposal-a-versary!!
WAYDTGKU: pnv, temping, will start checking cm/cp today, preseed as needed
R/R: I think DH and I might go to the outlet mall this weekend for some new clothes! We both desperately need new work pants and I'm down to one pair of jeans that don't have a hole in the knee! It's pretty sad.
CS/Q: nothing much. My temp took a nosedive this morning, so I'm thinking my estrogen is starting to do its thing!
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? we love to go hiking when the leaves are changing. It's so nice when there's a slight crisp in the air! Oh, and I can start wearing my scarves!! And who am I kidding, all things pumpkin!!!
@marybpoppins I think with OPKs you're not supposed to use FMU - when I used to do them (Wondfos) when TTC#1, I always used SMU. Some ladies have noticed that they have shorter surges, so they'll do them 2-3 times a day to make sure that they catch it. The most I ever did was twice a day...I didn't feel comfortable doing them at work. I had the opposite problem though - multiple surges where only the last one was actually O. So I had no problem getting a positive test, it just was meaningless half the time, which is why I don't do them anymore.
Month/Cycle: 2/2 (plus NTNP)
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNVs, checking CM, HIO when we can (DH is now out of town until Thursday evening)
R/R: DH was in a bad mood last night and didn't want to have sex...so he was like "just wake me up in the morning," which I HAD TO because he goes out of town this afternoon. The rant here is that I had to set my alarm for 4:15am to make that happen and also get to the gym on time. Momming is going to be hard tonight. I hope DD goes to bed easy for me. I kind of hate morning sex because then I can't tell during the day if I'm seeing CM or leftovers. Also, DD has the worst diaper rash of her life right now...I think daycare left her in a poopy diaper for too long yesterday, and it's so bad that it hurts her when we wipe it and she wouldn't even sit in the bath water last night without screaming...I'm not impressed. DH is bringing her in today with instructions to change her every single hour and hopefully it will be a better...he said it was a little better this morning and didn't seem to be as painful for her. Poor kid. My rave is that I took the day off tomorrow because DD has her 15 month doctor appointment, so I get to not work and hang out with her all day. That will be fun.
CS/Q: Nope. I'm probably going to O within the next week at some point, based on my recent history.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? We tailgate at our college football games with some buddies who live in another part of the state (the college is a halfway point between us) so that is super fun. Also, I enjoy running outside when it is not a billion degrees like it is in the summer.
R/R: I think we got our timing right! We BD late last night. This morning I had a positive OPK so I'm pretty sure O will be today or tomorrow at the very latest.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Drinking pumpkin spice lattes!! And Halloween of course!
@marybpoppins I use FMU with OPKs. I used to get my positives in the morning doing that. I had to switch to doing them multiple times a day close to O because I catch my surge in the afternoon now.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNV, OPKs, and temping
R/R: I am excited to watch Married At First Sight tonight. DH also brought home fresh cheese curds from a creamery last night. They were squeaky and delicious!
CS/Q: nothing that I can think of.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Watching football and going to the pumpkin patch. We have also started going to the apple orchard too which we have already done.
R/R: ugh... last night we tried to hio. What a disaster. *tw bad sex and loss mentioned* Sorry if this is tmi, but first I felt like I had to drag dh into the bedroom... he was watching a stupid tv show and getting him peeled off of the stupid computer was a small miracle. Then, it flat out sucked, and we didn't end up finishing... this has happened maybe twice, ever! It almost happened saturday but instead I got to try 30 different positions while he figured out what he needed to do to get the job done. Last night i was really bummed after... I got really discouraged and just felt like this wasn't going to be our month either. The first time i was pregnant we had sex once on our first month and it was fun and easy and all i did was say "huh im kind of wet i must be fertile" and boom. This time i cant enjoy myself for the life of me... my dh is having a hard time finishing and its month 4 and i feel like if we dont start getting a move on its not going to happen this month either. Isn't this supposed to be fun?! *end tw* Sorry this is really whiny and people hAve been trying a lot longer than me and I don't know how you do it.
CS/Q: no I'm done temping
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Hard to say... I love it all!! Running outside, Apple picking, spooky stuff... I'm from vt and moved to nh and love foliage. I'm a closet leaf peeper hehe
R/R: I had a super lazy night last night and it was amazing, so I'm feeling recharged today!
CS/Q: none
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I'm drinking pumpkin spice creamer in my coffee right now! I love pumpkin patches and snuggling up with wine and girlfriends and scary movies. My husband hates scary movies but every October he will let me pick one to watch together, so I'm slowly working him through the classics. I love that little tradition we have together.
WAYDTGKU: Temping, BDing every other day, tracking CM and CP, using OPKs
R/R: My chest is breaking out like CRAZY. Usually I don't break out during AF. Typically, it gets bad just before AF and then I'm clear during. But that was while I was on BC. So I guess this is my new normal? It sucks lol. I'm just hoping it clears up by the weekend when I want to go out for my birthday!
CS/Q: My temps seem to love 97.5-97.6. They vary enough that I don't think it's my thermometer, but it's just funny to see what kind of patterns your body falls into. (same thing happened last month pre-O)
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Pumpkin picking and wearing comfy leggings and sweaters.
GingerJams re. CP, I am so confused by this. It seems so clear in TCOYF, but I just can't decipher it on a daily basis. I can recognize low, medium, and high. The firm factor isn't as clear to me though. The tip of the nose analogy doesn't work for me... maybe the tip of my nose is soft and that throws off the frame of reference (thus, I can't differentiate if my cervix is soft, medium, and hard)? Usually, when I check, it goes like this "Hmmmm, it is in the medium position and... my cervix is... present. Hmmm, it is kind of soft and hard, kind of open, but also kind of closed. This is useless." Perhaps more practice will help out.
@lboalboh@GingerJams When checking CP for the first cycle, I would honestly say to make your best guess and at the end of the cycle, it will all be so much clearer. I thought that my CP was low right after AF but I didn't discover that was my medium until after I O'd and then I saw exactly what my low position was. So my advice would be to check it for a month and then you will have a frame of reference. Trust me, you will be able to tell as the firmness changes.

@Pinky917 - I LOVE the sound of crunching leaves! @GingerJams - I want to know real human advice on finding CP too. I tried a few times last month, but am not sure... @Nelbetron - I am 100% with you on HIO...it feels like a chore. I try really hard to make DH interested in it, and try to not talk to him about CM or when I might O until AFTER the fact, because I notice then he's less stressed and is able to finish more. Also, he is mostly an EOD kinda guy. He gets worn down if we do ED, so this month we're aiming for EOD plus on extra on O day if it's not one of our EOD days anyway.
I go here now. AF is a B****.

WAYDTGKU: Being a grumpasaurus. Going to the store to buy OPKs today (and a Swiffer...wow my house is dirty)
R/R: *TW The only GOOD thing I'll give my body, is that some symptoms I had been having since MC before AF arrived, went away this last cycle. So hopefully next time I notice those symptoms, it'll be because I'm KU**
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Currently...chasing Northern Lights! This last year, we moved to an area that gets them a TON!! My DH hadn't ever seen them...until LAST NIGHT! It wasn't a very big show, but it was cool. And next week I guess there's supposed to be some BIG BIG lights. I do also love running in the fall weather, crunching leaves, carving pumpkins, apple/pumpkin picking. But I hate Halloween. I'm only in it for the candy.
R/R: I want to Rave about my DH a
bit, I could tell he really wasn’t feeling BD last night, but he initiated
anyway. It just makes me feel good that he’s as committed to this as I am. We
had a talk last month about how I was feeling a little alone in all of this
with the charting and peeing and sex-planning so I appreciate him stepping up.
Love that guy.
CS/Q: Giant temp spike today which would
indicate the early side of normal O for me, but OPK’s are kind of being a twat.
It’s possible I’m just not going to turn one this cycle I guess. I’m going to
keep peeing on stuff and HIO until I’m sure. Not really a question, just…. Thanks
body.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I’m
like @berg and I’m not a huge fall fan, I cling to summer. However, a couple
college girlfriends and I have started a tradition in which I get my fill of
fall all in one day. We get together in a beautiful part of the state, visit a
cider mill, eat donuts, go wine tasting and watch our alma mater beat on
play our instate rival. It’s a great day J
@Nelbetron Have you tried
Preseed? Without going into too much detail, it may help your DH get the job
done.
@lboalboh I had the same
issues with CP for a while, what helped me was checking every day or every
other day even when I wasn’t close to O. That helped me get a feel for what the
other options were so when it was softer than usual I could call it medium or
soft.
WAYDTGKU: Poking around down there to look for answers (CM/CP), temping, OPKs
R/R: I went to a dinner and lecture for a famous scholar and he mansplained at me for awhile... he didn't realize that I am a young prominent scholar in my field and could talk circles around him on several issues. I eventually had enough and called attention to his blinders (re. race and gender) in his sweeping generalizations. He promptly interrupted me to tell me that no one cares about "that stuff" so we shouldn't waste our time on it. The worst part is that I wasted 3 hours away from my family to attend this dinner and lecture. It definitely put a damper on my mood and ability to disconnect from work once I got home.
CS/Q: My temp went down again. I am not sure what is going on. Perhaps my chart is a mess because I woke up every hour between 2 and 7 today (and yesterday). Maybe work stress is throwing things into a chaotic state and I still haven't Oed. I just don't know. Here's my chart:
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I absolutely love picking apples with my son. We have a few pick-your-own places nearby. Picking summer fruits (cherries, peaches, blueberries, and blackberries) is fun, but nothing compares to apple picking. Plus, apples are so versatile- cobbler, pie, salads, cake... the possibilities are endless. I am obsessed with putting them in grilled cheese sandwiches right now with a little bit of honey mustard. Yummm...
@CallaLily25 I forgot about leggings and sweaters! And BOOTS!
@Nelbetron I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. Honestly, at some point, I bet that happens to most people. I'm always dragging/convincing DH to get to work during FW, even though if you ask him, he says he'll do whatever it takes. But when it gets down to it, it's like pulling teeth.
@berg Happy Proposal-versary! and as for hating fall i can't get on board with that... I mean its one of my favs, but I can get on board with hating all things pumpkin spice. I don't need that much cinnamon in my life and well its just not a real flavor. haha.
@lboalboh I wish I had more advice for you, but I too could never figure out CP or how to decipher it. I just rely on other things to cross check things (CM, Temps, OPKs) Good Luck
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: All the things, actively using OPKs and HIO.
R/R: It is finally my fertile window! I feel like it has been forever in the making. Also I didn't sleep well. DD got up with a nightmare and I kicked DH out of bed. Which was fine, but I was then up and it was 3:30 ish... i tried to fall asleep but don't think i really did. I took my temp at 4:40 and then at my normal time at 5, in any event temp was just wonky this morning all around.
CS/Q: nopey - nope.. maybe next week when my SS starts to fly.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I mean, I don't have just one! Its my all around fav! We go apple picking (this weekend), baking all said apples, attend the Big E -- a huge fair around these parts, pumpkin picking, and football is back. I can't just pick one.
R/R: not much so far today, but I'm sure that will change
CS/Q: nothing to stalk yet
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I have to agree with @pinky917 and @khrun17 crunchy fall leaves! I also love snuggling under the comforter with the windows open to sleep.
@hartmich I hope today your back to 0 so you can get some answers.
@gingerjams for CM I usually insert a finger and sweep around and then see what I get. If I have a lot of CM I may just go with what I find when I wipe.
@nelbetron Sorry last night did not go well. yes its "supposed" to be fun but some times its a lot of work and struggles. I hope you guys can find your happy place again.
@Khrun17 sorry for CD1, I was hoping you wouldn't follow me. Its on my bucket list to see the northern lights, thats so exciting that you got to see them last night!

R/R: I am having a terrible morning (made worse by the yoga pants post). Fight with DH this morning over TTC that ended with me yelling "you have ONE job". Mature right? I never wanted this process to tear at us. Tbh I never thought it was going to be such a process. Just feeling a little lost today.
CS/Q: Just waiting for that egg to drop and my temp to rise
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I will probably get flamed too (looking at you @berg ) but I don't like pumpkin spiced anything (except some beers). I do make a killer pumpkin bread that everyone loves but I don't eat it. I do love the beginning of fall though before everything looks dead because of the clothes and football Sundays where we drink beer and make apps and sit on the couch.
marybpoppins Like @hartmich said, the CBDA
specifically say FMU but my nurse at the RE clinic asks me to not used the
advanced and use SMU. I think with the
exception of the CBDA which tests estrogen as well as LH you can test at any
time.
@gingerjams In regards to
cervix position my advice is to check at the same time every day and you will
get the hang of it and start to notice differences in position and soft vs
firm. That post that @Pinky917 recommended is also really helpful. I have that bookmarked so I can go back and re read it when I'm confused.

WAYDTGKU: temping, pnv's, acupuncture, I will start clomid tonight and probably go back to HIO if AF is a little more manageable

My rant today is just that my temp seems to be all over the place (i know regular until your not) but I always O on cd 15 and I didnt get much temp rise this morning, and I know my temps this weekend were off due to not sleeping well, but ugh I just want to know if I o'd already!
CS/Q: None, just frustrated, see rant
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Im not a fall person, but I do love baking, so I get to pull out all my stuff, and I also love christmas shopping, so I'll probably start that soon. But really I just kinda hate fall
@berg I am totally with you in the hating fall thing! I also love that your DH remembered your engagement anniversary.
@GingerJams and others, I know for me I always try to test my CP in the same position each day, that way you have good idea of where it was the day before. I think that if you try to do it each day from when AF leaves to after your FW you should be able to start to notice some differences. I also found the nose check to be useless, but after some practice I was able to get it down. As for CM, I had a hard time figuring it out as well, but I realized it was because I didnt have much, so I started to drink more green tea to get it going, and once that happened, it made it a lot easier to figure out. Another good resource for this is the book "What to Expect before your expecting" it gives a bunch of good insite on what you should be looking for and how to look for it.

@berg, happy engageiversary! While I don't hate fall (I don't really hate any season because I'm always excited for a change in seasons), I don't quite get the intensity of the hype over it. It's only pretty for a little while and then it's dreary. My birthday is in November and I hate the dreary-ness. Winter is better because the snow makes things nice again.
@hartmich, I'm sorry to see you back here. Big hugs to you. @Nelbetron, if it makes you feel better, I think that what you and H are going through is completely normal at this point. The first month trying is all fun and exciting but the novelty wears off quick. I don't really have any advice except hang in there and try not to take it personally when things don't quite....work out. Easier said than done. @lboalboh, I agree that it looks like you haven't Oed yet

WAYDTGKU: All the regular stuff except OPKs.
R/R: CD1. I feel measurably more disappointed this time than last time. Part of me is wondering if it's from alcohol. I had a reunion with college friends in which there was a lot of drinking during the TWW. I peed on lots of things beforehand and then every couple days during to make sure I wasn't KU to be on the safe side, but now I'm wondering if it made it more difficult for something to implant? Idk. I don't know if there is any science behind that and I know it's not really healthy to have this mindset but I can't help but think "maybe this is my fault ". Ugh. Being emotional from AF doesn't help.
CS/Q: nah.
GTKY: Definitely eating and drinking. I love apples, squash, baking, and of course a good Ole PSL.
Edit to add: my r/r wasn't meant to make anyone else feel bad about drinking till its pink, as the general consensus is that doing so is perfectly safe. I generally do drink in moderation till its pink, but I guess because I drank more than my usual my brain is trying to make connections and correlations that aren't there. Just felt that I should add that in case anyone who is new to TTC were to read my words and think that they should worry.

@saralee797 haha I want to yell that at DH ALL THE TIME. It's true though. He does nothing but "make his deposits" now, while I have to temp, take PNVs, check CM, etc...and then whenever he succeeds and knocks me up, he gets to do nothing (and continue to drink!) for 9 months while I grow a baby, and then even once the baby is born he does almost nothing compared to the time suck of breastfeeding/pumping. It's kind of childish, BUT IT'S TRUE. DH is awesome with DD, and cares for her alone every morning before daycare (for about 2-2.5 hours) and does a lot with her on weekends too, we are truly just about 50/50 now on housework and childcare chores...but I still feel like the work hasn't quite evened out yet from the pregnancy and first year of DD's life. What you sacrifice to have a baby isn't just 9 months of pregnancy and a day or so of labor. Assuming you breastfeed, and depending on how long you TTC first, it could be MANY YEARS of sacrifices on your part...and all DH has to do is have sex. What a chore for him. Sigh.
@Nelbetron I feel you girl. I was up an extra hour last night trying to make things "interesting" and thankfully it paid off. My DH is really an EOD guy but we both tend to push it to ED in the FW and it is not the easiest. So one less hour of sleep leads to me being cranky this morning leads to arguments.
@delujm0 Thanks for understanding. He made a comment this morning about how "next month we really need to time this better". I know what he meant and its not as bad as it sounds but it just totally set me off. It felt like criticism and laziness. Like I am in control of my body? I am just as frustrated as he is except I am the one temping, charting, checking, peeing on things. You're right though... I need to set my expectations now about what life will be like when we finally do get KU. I know he will be a great and involved dad but the majority of it will fall to me regardless. I just need to get out of my damn funk this morning!
@saralee797 I get it. Last cycle DH asked me why I "don't have a better idea" of when I'm going to ovulate and told me I "need to be more on top of it next time" and he's very lucky that he's still alive this month to tell the tale. When we were TTC DD, he didn't like me taking OPKs because he felt like that was "too intense" so i don't know what he would even want me to do? See a psychic? If only I didn't need that sperm.......ha. ;-)
@berg Awww.. Congrats on your proposal anniversary, that's just too sweet.

WAYDTGKU: EOD, vitamin D, cutting back caffeine.. I miss it
R/R: My husband is totally getting a rave right now. Our camping trip got rained out, and tent camping in the rain just isn't any fun (even if you're from the PNW), so he found a groupon for the Coast, got a wonderful hotel room (with a huge jetted tub- the thing I loved most about this place) and drove us there for a night. The weather was gorgeous, and we hit the cute coastal shops, the aquarium where I got splashed by seals, and watched the sunset from the crows nest of the hotel. We also were able to get his Mother's bday gift out of the way too. He really saved the weekend
CS/Q: None currently, just a few more days then I move over to TWW
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Going to the Pumpkin patch and 'back to school' shopping.. I love the back to school autumnal outfits and boots, even if I am no longer in school. I also like to take my neices shopping for their back to school clothes.

R/R: Just got back from looking at a house and it was awful. We have been looking for about 6 months and the market here sucks for buyers. Houses that need a TON of work are selling for so much it's ridiculous. This definitely wasn't what we were expecting when looking for a house.
CS/Q: Nothing today
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Going to the pumpkin patch, watching football, bonfires.

R/R: I guess it is just more of what is on my mind – we are
getting family pictures in a couple weeks and need to figure out outfits and
our location….
CS/Q: So I am not temping yet, figured I would just see how
this first round goes. I have also been really inconsistent with the OPKs
because I was on a staff retreat this weekend so I never saw a positive. It is
my first cycle after getting my IUD removed….so I don’t know if I am “regular”.
I guess I just don’t know if I should
move over to the TWW or not since I can’t verify that I ever ovulated. Hmm…
someone tell me if I should just make the move knowing that there is nothing I
can really do to tell. Should I stay or should I go now?
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?
It used to be tailgating for football games or going to the
cider mill. Seeing as I no longer go to college or live in the mid-west, I
would have to say it is going hiking in the mountains to see the color change.
Loving all the pumpkin patch suggestions – will have to do that this year with
DS.
@berg Yay! Happy proposal-versary. Also, you’re definitely an

clean the tub after.
@delujm0 Lol yep they are both lucky to be alive at this point. Its funny how similar these conversations were. This is why I love this place! What do you say we invent at home u/s machines or ute goggles and be millionaires?

CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? Does just snuggling up on the couch with DH and watching TV count? Otherwise, I would say getting to spend time with my mom while my dad and DH go to football games on Sunday

@marybpoppins
In my experience, you're supposed to follow the specific instructions on the box. One brand I used said do not use first morning urine as it can take LH some time to show in your system and therefore afternoon is better. Another brand said first morning urine or urine that has been held for 3-4 hours.

@bertiemeetsgertie hopefully we can work past this difficult patch in our friendship

R/R: I want to Rave about my DH a bit, I could tell he really wasn’t feeling BD last night, but he initiated anyway. It just makes me feel good that he’s as committed to this as I am. We had a talk last month about how I was feeling a little alone in all of this with the charting and peeing and sex-planning so I appreciate him stepping up. Love that guy.
CS/Q: Giant temp spike today which would indicate the early side of normal O for me, but OPK’s are kind of being a twat. It’s possible I’m just not going to turn one this cycle I guess. I’m going to keep peeing on stuff and HIO until I’m sure. Not really a question, just…. Thanks body.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity? I’m like @berg and I’m not a huge fall fan, I cling to summer. However, a couple college girlfriends and I have started a tradition in which I get my fill of fall all in one day. We get together in a beautiful part of the state, visit a cider mill, eat donuts, go wine tasting and watch our alma mater beat on play our instate rival. It’s a great day J
@Nelbetron Have you tried Preseed? Without going into too much detail, it may help your DH get the job done.
@lboalboh I had the same issues with CP for a while, what helped me was checking every day or every other day even when I wasn’t close to O. That helped me get a feel for what the other options were so when it was softer than usual I could call it medium or soft.
**Edit for clarity

Yummm...
@tripledaggerWed95976 FX that's really O and you can move to the TWW!
@tripledaggerWed95976 Yay for good timing! Fingers crossed for you!

I do love the beginning of fall though before everything looks dead because of the clothes and football Sundays where we drink beer and make apps and sit on the couch.
marybpoppins Like @hartmich said, the CBDA specifically say FMU but my nurse at the RE clinic asks me to not used the advanced and use SMU. I think with the exception of the CBDA which tests estrogen as well as LH you can test at any time.
@gingerjams In regards to cervix position my advice is to check at the same time every day and you will get the hang of it and start to notice differences in position and soft vs firm. That post that @Pinky917 recommended is also really helpful. I have that bookmarked so I can go back and re read it when I'm confused.
Month/Cycle: 5/6

WAYDTGKU: temping, pnv's, acupuncture, I will start clomid tonight and probably go back to HIO if AF is a little more manageable
R/R: I had my first acupuncture appt last night. It was very different but the therapist was very convincing that it could help so I'm going to give it a try once a week this cycle.
CS/Q: nah

WAYDTGKU: everything . . .
R/R: I just want to thank everyone (im not great at commenting regularly) for the congrats on finishing my race this weekend. It was nice to see my name pop up so much yesterday with the support!

WAYDTGKU: Usual things plus started OPKs.
R/R: My order of dresses from eShakti was delivered last night so I'm wearing a new dress at work and I feel great! I love new clothes. Rant: After drunk sex on Saturday I got a rip in the skin on my vulva very close to my vaginal opening (probably because of decreased lubrication due to my drunkenness) and I exacerbated it during sex on Sunday so it hurts a lot. I'm willing it to heal in time for FW banging this weekend.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?
Drinking Oktoberfest while watching football.

Month/Cycle: 3/4
CD: 1

@eggplantface : I have been wanting to try eshakti.. is it awesome? Worth it? OUCH! Sorry to hear about your cut. Dumb booze..
@tripledaggerWed95976 : FX for you!!
@berg Awww.. Congrats on your proposal anniversary, that's just too sweet.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD:16

WAYDTGKU: HIO EOD, OPKs, PNVs
R/R: I guess it is just more of what is on my mind – we are getting family pictures in a couple weeks and need to figure out outfits and our location….
CS/Q: So I am not temping yet, figured I would just see how this first round goes. I have also been really inconsistent with the OPKs because I was on a staff retreat this weekend so I never saw a positive. It is my first cycle after getting my IUD removed….so I don’t know if I am “regular”. I guess I just don’t know if I should move over to the TWW or not since I can’t verify that I ever ovulated. Hmm… someone tell me if I should just make the move knowing that there is nothing I can really do to tell. Should I stay or should I go now?
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?
It used to be tailgating for football games or going to the cider mill. Seeing as I no longer go to college or live in the mid-west, I would have to say it is going hiking in the mountains to see the color change. Loving all the pumpkin patch suggestions – will have to do that this year with DS.
@berg Yay! Happy proposal-versary. Also, you’re definitely an alien…
@lulu1180 snuggling counts!
@marybpoppins jealous of your kitchen remodel! Make sure to show us the before and after J LOVE the golden pumpkin thing, that is adorable.
@gingerjams love some candy corn, caramel apples, etc. – PUMPKIN BEER - now I am hungry. Did anyone at your wedding come in costume!?
delujm0 4:15am is DEDICATION. FX this is your cycle. I am having similar issues at daycare – I put ground oatmeal in the bathtub for DS when it is bad because it helps inflammation. Just tricky to clean the tub after.
@hupp0013 mmmmmm cheese curds….
@khRun17 sorry for CD1 – AF is a major B**** - AWESOME on the northern lights. I haven’t ever seen them.
@lboalboh HATE mansplaining.
@eggplantface OUCH!! Maybe some of that spray that they give you after labor? That worked wonders for me.
@jackiemarie1987 sorry for CD1
@boshnjonnie RAVE for your husband for sure – lucky girl!
@themrs I am in the horrible house hunt too – 10 months and counting. I feel your pain.
