He woke up the second I shut the door, lol. I had to let him sleep on me in the rocking chair for an hour. My abdomen is a little sore after all the toddler carrying, lol, but I'm glad I'm here. I think I'll probably be home tomorrow too.

Better! I stayed home because the babsitter, aka my mom, got sick with the same nonsense. Baby is much better now, fever gone, still not 100% himself. 

Me on the other gand: about to drop from exhaustion, lol. I have been laying in bed since 8pm, too lazy to go downstairs to run the dishwasher.

I was so anxious about baby today, after a chiropractic appointment where he was rushing from running behind he just quickly went and smashed down on my back without adjusting the table to make room for my belly! Gahhh! I almost flipped out, but figured that wouldn't help anything since he was already all done. I know that baby has plenty of room and fluid to move around in there, etc, but it still made me so angry and anxious! I've never been more relieved to feel baby flutters than tonight after that!

So-I always count 13weeks as second tri... my countdown till we ALL are in the second tri is THIS Friday!! As in two days left!! (((But I realize some people don't recognize tri2 hits till 14weeks...)) so the big question is: which Friday do we have our Gif party to celebrate this milestone together?? This week, or next week?

40 weeks / 3 trimesters = 13.3333 weeks/trimester
convert the 0.3333 weeks to days -> 7 days/week*0.3333 weeks = 2.331 days

Math says each trimester is 13 weeks + 2.3 days.
So at 13 weeks 3 days, you're in your second tri.
At 26 weeks 5 days, you're in your third tri.

@CanadianintheSouth Uff, I know. It's going to be in the 80's here today. Hopefully it'll cool down in the next several days for you like it should for us.

I'm doing a little online shopping for some maternity shirts (Old Navy has a 40% off plus free shipping online only for today)...STM...did y'all prefer fitted shirts, relaxed shirts, or have a mixture of both?  I feel like in a relaxed shirt I'm going to look and feel bigger than I am, but not sure how comfortable I'll feel in fitted shirts.  Looking forward to hearing opinions

I enjoyed the fitted shirts but I also ruin all of my socks because I have to pull them crazy tight on my feet lol.. I had some loose fitting items but always made sure to tie or belt it because I looked like a house if I didn't! lol This time around I'm just looking for more fitted tanks that I can throw under cardigans and preggo sweaters

Ladies! OMG!!!! I just had the most mortifying moment of my life!!!!! I texted my husband to ask him a random question (a little TMI): if he would find it weird at all to shave my goodies with his clippers since my belly's getting too big to see down there. Well turns out I texted my DAD!!!!! Why god why?! I just want to die! I've never had an epic fail with texting like that ever. I always make sure to check and double check who I'm texting so I don't embarrass myself. Welp, now I've just gone and done it. Thank the lord above he lives 2,000 miles away!

@kiyamurph I feel for you. I did that once and it wasn't even that bad but now I always double check and even just delete my parents from my recent texts if I'm having convos like that

I have my DH (Dan) and my DAD (Dad) in my phone.  I've texted my Dad before, but it wasn't nearly that deep of a conversation.  I said to my dad:  Oops sorry Dad...how are you?

Hopefully your dad doesn't read too much into it.

Ive never had a good place to put this, and then realized "duh, the random thread is for randoms" 
im on mobile so maybe that factors in, but I've never understood the constant apologies made when people upload a picture to the HDBD thread and its on the larger side. Am I the only one who thinks it is not even a little bit of a problem? Maybe they look giant on regular desktops?

@kiyamurph Oh no!!! How mortifying! My dad would never let me live it down. I'd be hearing about for years to come: "So, do you still need some clippers?"

Well crap.  I'm in the midst of selling my condo that I've owned since my first marriage.  I got it in the divorce and recorded the transfer with the county and refinanced the mortgage into my name only.  Well, apparently I missed a step and ex-h is still on the title.  Discovered this when they pulled the title report.  Fairly certain he has no rights to the property or the proceeds because it was spelled out in the divorce papers that I get the property, but there's still a small part of me that's panicking. The title company is pulling the divorce decree and I'm hoping the can remove him after that.

Last night we went to dinner with friends who we rarely get to see, so we were excited to tell them about the baby. I got there early and ordered a mocktail, wore a flowy shirt, and went to great lengths to make it a surprise as DH and I haven't told many people yet. The goofy hipster waiter brought out some complimentary appetizers and explained them to us, and finally looks at me and says: "I see you're drinking a mocktail, so I'll point out that the soft cheese on this dish is made in house and is therefore considered raw..." I turned bright red and thanked him for revealing the secret we've been keeping from my friends who just traveled 2000 miles to see us!

Not a problem for me. I'm only mobile so I don't care if they're big.
