Im so bummed, I really was looking forward to doing birth photography with this birth and get pictures of sibling introduction but since baby is due in flu season Lincoln will not be allowed to come into labor and delivery since he is only 15 months
I work at our hospital and today we got notice of the mandatory flu shot clinic all employees must be vaccinated by November 13th. So it really bums me out.
Our hospital it's no children under 12 unless it is the sibling of the baby. I have a (don't judge) 8 year old sister who is going to be REALLLYYY upset when she find out she can not visit her nephew in the hospital. Kids don't understand. And that's my sister...not my child and sibling is the baby.. I just don't understand how it's okay to keep them out!!

If she's that young can you just say she's your step daughter or something? I mean who would know...
My last baby was September and I wasn't allowed anyone under 18 family or not. I just expect that again this time. Makes me sad but I get where they are coming from.

I'm with @MrsMaryK2016 I would lie and say she's yours or DH's
I had never heard of this but then again most babies I've visited in the hospital have been born in late Spring or Summer. Anyway, it prompted me to call my hospital and I found out that my DD can visit as long as she's not sick.
@kristah2 I would totally lie and say she's yours ;-)
