No preterm labor! I figured at this point that this was the case, but I'm still thrilled. I don't know what you do for an irritable uterus, but I feel bad for the gal (my ute), she's been through a lot this year, and I can totally see why she's irritable.
@ThePax89 Pretty much! We're like 99% settled. H wrote a song for the baby called "Clementine", so unless something drastic happens to change it, that's what we're going with.
Quick update before the end of the week - OB appointment went fine, HB was at 168 and everything measured right where it should. I, however, have gained more weight than I anticipated. Sigh - so that sucks. He's not concerned at this point, but I've not really been over indulging so I'm not sure what's up with that. Mom did make it home from Rehab - yay - so there one more step towards normalcy.
Ok so semi-random question. I know it's much more acceptable to go by weeks these days, but some of the older people in my life just don't get it. So, when do/did YOU mentally or verbally put yourself at 6 months? When do you change your "month" - also I'll be telling my students soon and I feel like they will need a month number lol
@SquirrelGiggles83 I gained "too much" last visit, too. But this month I've only gained half a lb total. My OB said that you should gain half of all your weight between weeks 20-30.
I follow this chart pretty much. I forget what week I'm in until ticket change check in, so it's a round about either way lol.
@SquirrelGiggles83 haha. Old people really don't get it. It's funny to me. I take the date of my LMP (April 3) and count from there. So on October 3, I'll be 6 months pregnant. It is important to note that on @cjs260 's chart, I will be entering my seventh month the day I hit 6 months.
Just updating, had a couple good appointments today. Had to see a different OB today than my usual doctor but he said that if I keep my numbers under control and don't have to go on insulin nothing really changes with how things go or what they do. I will be checking with my normal doctor at my next appointment too and he said to anticipate at least one more ultrasound to just double check growth as we get further along. But that's good news to me and more motivation to keep those numbers where they need to be. My internist appointment was good too, she was happy with my numbers. My only complaint is that I have a cold now and am miserable with that. I've been sneezing so much that every time I sneeze I end up with a bloody nose. The doctor cleared me to take some Tylenol sinus and allergy meds and as much as I hate to take meds I broke down and bought some.
