I got the news that I passed my glucose test yesterday.  It's really perfect timing because I'm stressed and crunched for time at work today so I'm binge eating candy.  And I ate a sugar cookie for dinner last night.  Well, really it was two...

I had DH go buy me a bag of salad last night to.go along with dinner. 

I totally forgot to serve it.

Elapsed time between putting it in the fridge and dinner was 5 minutes. Seriously 5 freaking minutes. My brain is gone.

I haven't done more than 2 hours of actual work all week.  I currently have an unorganized way of keeping recipes, so I've spent most of my time bumping, facebooking and typing up recipes to put in a neat binder that will soon be super duper organized. And I'm getting paid for all of it... while jamming out to "good bad music" as I call it. I don't care for a lot of hip hop music typically.. but I have to admit that some of those Taylor Swift Ariana type songs get me moving and happy.

I woke up in the worst mood today, mainly because I have been awake since 3am, feel asleep for a brief nap around 5, and then my alarm went off at 5:40. Good stuff to start a Friday. Plus, when I woke up, it was from a dream in which I literally beat the crap out of DH... like A Christmas Story Ralphie beat down. DH has been good with the whole PG thing, since we're FTP, but sometimes he can be a real jerk. If I complain about lack of sleep, heart burn, aches and pains here and there... he has no sympathy cos that's his life. Everyday. There are also a number of other things where I just can't handle with him anymore, and not sure if it's just hormones building up or just being overwhelmed with everything going on in our lives at the moment.

I started a new job a few weeks back and know I won't know everything right away, but it's been a lot. I have time off to figure out between now and mid-November, along with still doing my job (which involves testing a bunch of back-end programs, and have deadlines). I just feel lost.

And we have NO baby stuff prepared in our house. None. The babies room is still, what we would call, our guest room. The bed that's in there needs to go to my SILs, as they're using it for their oldest. But, they're super slow at doing anything (I was supposed to get some of their used baby things, but she hasn't had the time (ya know, 6 months now) to go through their attic to find anything so who knows), and I doubt that bed will be out anytime soon. Plus, there is a dresser and night stand that match our bedroom set (which is from the 70's, I swear) that also needs to go somewhere. Everything else, we can find homes... but those are BIG items. I want his room semi-done by November, so we can relax that last month and just wait for his arrival. Oh, and DH is gone some of November for hunting, so that doesn't help either. I literally could cry any second due to the thoughts going on in my head with everything.

At least when I asked DH this morning if we can take a separate vehicle to our nephews birthday party tomorrow, he said that was fine. We were going to car pool with SIL, hubby and 2 nephews after we watched a football game (NDSU vs. Iowa - ESPN 2 at 11am!) at their place, but the third row seats of their Tahoe are the most uncomfortable seats in the world, and I am not sitting in for an hour all PG and gross feeling in them. It's awful not PG. If SIL bitches about it, I am pretty sure I am asking her if SHE'D sit in them 6 months PG... and I am sure the answer is no.

Sorry for the long post, but I needed to get some stuff off my chest and this post is great for it. Thanks for reading.

My mom sent me a text asking what I would like for presents for my wedding anniversary, birthday, and Christmas (all in December). At first I wanted to say, "No, don't worry about it," but after looking through my Amazon account...I think I'm going to take advantage of this situation and ask for stuff we need/would really like but just aren't in the budget for us to get normally.

@Kacie209 That sounds frustrating and nerve-wracking. It's hard when it feels like there is no support and everything is overwhelming. Some men are just awful about empathy. Usually men seem to want to be problem-solvers...maybe there is a way to convey your concerns in a way that he feels he is saving the day? That's a hard situation....I'm sorry.

I'm at an all day CEU event that doesn't end until 3:45, and I'll be smack dab in crazy city traffic all the way home. I'm totally planning on sneaking out 20 minutes early, so I can grab my certificate without waiting in line and get a head start on traffic. I will be blaming kidney stone pain for my departure, even though I feel perfectly fine. Mwahahahaha!

I bought DS1 a cookie from Panera to have after his nap and then proceeded to eat it myself. Thankfully he didn't see it beforehand. Toddlers have the best/worst memory at times!

@Kacie209 I'm sorry. That is stressful at anytime, let alone when 6+ months pregnant. Maybe you can let a little stress off at your party? Also, if it's getting too much, you don't need a nursery. L has never been in his except when I put him in the crib while doing laundry on the floor.

My FFFC is I have read over 100pages of old BFing threads. Everyone I can find between now and August '15. I literally spent days on Dec '15's 33 pages.

We never get a crib until the baby is a few months old. If you just get a bassinet for your room, diapers, and basic baby clothes, you'll be good. Stick with basics, build as you go. We can't all be totally prepared Craigslist has some great stuff if you just want to get something quick without spending a chunk of change! I've been eyeing stuff on there... 
And don't worry about making people make exceptions for your pregnant self, if they don't understand, that is their problem! Take care of you *creepy Internet hugs*

I peed myself twice last night. Both times I only coughed once. I coughed because one of the babies has been all up in my lungs. This happened within 15 minutes of each other...after already peeing every 15 minutes on the dot for the hour before....how was there even pee left in my bladder?! DH was passed out, I sat there and cried =(

I guess this is my FFFC, but I always take advantage of the situation if my mom asks what I want for holidays (birthday, Hanukkah, Christmas). I send her a list in the middle of November every year (her request I'm not that greedy). Last year I got the 2 big things I wanted (FitBit and AncestryDNA earlier this year) so I have no clue what to ask for this year. Off to Amazon to get ideas!

@yellingbanana Thank you! As a FTM, I think I feel that I need everything right away. We also plan to do newborn pics in house after he arrives, so I really wanted the room to look together at least for those. But you are right... and the fact that we're not keeping him in his crib until later on since we want him sleeping in our room for awhile anyway - a crib isn't anything needed immediately. I just need to relax a little. It'll come together, I just get impatient cos I want things immediately. And, it seems like everyone is asking me if the babies room is being worked on, and I'm like, "Oh hell no - lol".

@phoenix870509 Normally I happily hand over a list, but I guess this year I feel bad because we don't plan on giving gifts to people outside our nuclear family. So I feel bad like AW YEAH GIMME ALL THE GIFTS but they won't be reciprocated. Babies be expensive!

We just bought the last planned Christmas gift for dd1. But I'm sure in the next 3 months there will be more bought even though I just told DH we need to cut back on spending.

My in-laws are in town to visit a full 6 hours before DH is going to be home for work. Thanks for the heads up. He's currently calling to to tell them I'm not home when I actually am because I don't want to entertain them for SIX HOURS until my husband can get home. What are they doing here so early? They know he's at work!

I guess my FFFC is that I have no desire to buy cute baby clothes. I just want maternity clothes for myself. I don't even go anywhere most days but I feel like I don't have enough choice in what to wear. I was semi-mortified that I had to go on an interview yesterday in a flowery dress and sweater instead of something more professional. Cognitively I know it was fine, but on an emotional level I hate feeling like I don't have options.

I laugh then cry when the Amazon prime commercial comes on with the dog and baby. I have this irrational fear that we babied our dog so much he's going to get jealous of the baby and snap one day. I told DH but he's telling me I'm being crazy. He's a big goofy lab and has never bitten or snapped or  shown signs of aggression but I keep getting nervous.

@sammyl1221 omg I cry at this commercial too! Not because I worry what our dogs will do, but because I would be so sad if the babies didn't like the dogs lol. The dog looks so sad in the commercial!

Last night while finally coming home from my work trip my coworker and I stopped at Arby's for a quick dinner. I grabbed my bag of food and set it down next to the ketchup dispenser so I could grab a straw... and then promptly walked out of Arby's leaving my dinner on their counter.

I only tipped the hair sylist who cut my hair today $1. Not because I hate the cut, I love it actually, but because of her rudeness. While she was washing my hair, she said "Wow! You're really losing a LOT of hair at such a young age. You may want to get that checked out!" My response,  "Yeah, I know. I have thyroid disease". All she could say to that was "Oh". Then, she asked me what I wanted done, and as I was explaining a certain technic I had seen done there, she rudely interrupted and said "I don't cut hair like that. It's not my style". At this point, I was ready to go off on the witch and walk out, but I didn't. When it came to discussing the length, she flat out told me "Oh honey, no. That's cutting 7 inches off! You don't need to do that". I told her how I had had it cut like this before, and loved it, so she could either cut it like I wanted, or she'd lose my business. She ended up cutting it, and RAVED over how great it looked when done. Don't mess with this pregnant woman and tell me how to cut my hair. I didn't ask for her opinion. 

Sorry that turned into a vent.

I am less sympathetic about the hair loss comment. I think on that she might have been trying to be helpful, just really stupid about to phrase things.

DHs family is coming to visit for my shower next month (parents, grandparents, brother/SIL and their kids).  My shower is 1:30-4:30 on Sat.  MIL then wants to have an "early dinner" that night to celebrate her birthday, which is earlier in the week.  I am definitely annoyed that she has, once again, found a way to make things about her.  Can't wait to rush home from my shower for her dinner.

In the new starwars, Harrison Ford looks, act and even talks JUST like my (late) grandpa... Even my husband leaned over and said, "it's almost eerie how much he's similar to your grandpa!" It almost ruined the whole movie for me. And I weirdly still find Ford attractive... Is that messed up? 

Next stoey... Because it's 4 am and I have killer heart burn and can't sleep... 

My 7 yo saw the trailer for the new Bridget Jones movie and said, "those people are having a baby??? Aren't they a little old to have babies?" The paused and said, "oh, I get it... It's just like Sarah and Abraham in the bible..."  Pretty sure that's not what they were going for... 

Im still going to go see it though...
