Newbie intro - TW child, loss mentioned

I introed over on the IF board, but thought this may be a good place for me too. I am 39 years old, DH is 38 and have been TTC our second child for 2.75 years. I have a DD who is almost four. We had difficulty conceiving her and in 2011 we met with an RE who diagnosed uterine fibroids and MFI. TW, We did eventually conceive on our own after having a CP. Started seeing the RE again earlier this year, same diagnosis and I'm five years older. TW, We did first attempt at IUI in August, which did result in a BFP but sadly ended in another CP.

 Looks like we are going to attempt another IUI cycle in September. Because of my age my RE is insistent that time is short and treatment be aggressive. I am not certain that we will go as far as IVF, given our circumstances. I'm here looking for support, for others who understand what an emotional roller coaster infertility is.

Welcome! I think you will find TTC after 35 the most helpful. I found the ladies over there very supportive over the years.  I look forward to seeing you on this board soon!
