I know there are a few other ladies that have mentioned this in the past few weeks, but here I go: Two women asked me if I was pregnant at work today. I haven't told anyone except DH, so it's not like it's going through the rumor mill. I am only 8 weeks and haven't gained much...just bloated. Ugh, I feel like I need to burn the dress I wore today!
My TW is the ER in my town. My doctor was out of the office today so the nurse told me to go to the ER for my DS's 3 day long fever. I asked a few fellow moms and nurse friends if they thought I should go or not because i hate wasting the ERs time when its not an emergency and it was pretty much a unanimous yes. So. I get there and spend 2.5 hours without being called in. People arrived before and after me called in and nope. I understand triage but I have a 14 month old in a waiting room that's basically coated in all sorts of germs and it literally would have taken them 30 seconds to be like 'he really doesn't need to be seen today, take him to his regular doctor tomorrow' but they didn't so I ended up leaving sobbing because I couldn't contain my child anymore and I had no idea what the best choice was. And so I cried for hours.
Today it's USPS. I had a package of limited edition Wizard of Oz cloth diapers that I ordered that were supposed to be delivered yesterday. Didn't happen. Then they're supposed to be delivered today, nope. Apparently I now have a cute orange slip to rearrange delivery or I can pick it up at the post office. Why can't websites say a signature will be required!? I would've had it sent to my office if that were the case.
