I've been contemplating this a lot this last week knowing that a lot of doctors want to induce at 39 weeks if you have GD. I am very much against being induced but know that this is something that will be in the discussion as we get closer and it will all depend on baby's size and how controlled my numbers have been (so far so good). I am 38 weeks on Christmas, I went at 37 weeks (spontaneously) with my DS, so I'm not so worried about Christmas plans as having a baby on Christmas. The possibility is becoming more real every time I think about it. If induction is necessary, I really think for insurance reasons I'm going to aim for the 28th/29th of December since that's pretty close to 39 weeks but still in 2016.
