CD/DPO: 21/(not 100% sure as just came off BCP so don't know if I even O'd yet)
Timing: Again unsure of O but a few BD's around my fertile window
Testing: today. Not until a few days if AF doesn't show up (again have no idea what my reg cycle is yet)
R/R: Could not sleep last night, pain in legs and lower back
CS/Q: have not started charting yet. Really confused about this all but trying to learn. I asked my OBGYN and a pharmacist if there is any tricks to getting pregnant as I would like to soon and they all said nope just go at it....but reading you have a 24 hour window to get pregnant makes it seem a lot harder then I had expected.
GTKY: What's your favourite TV show of all time? AH. So hard. Of all time....tie for Sex and the City and Friends
Testing: Next Friday for the blood work. I may test Wednesday of next week, but I'm going to wait for the Ovidrel to get out of my system.
R/R: I hate to be negative, but my sister just told me yesterday that she is 7 weeks pregnant. I'm so happy for her and they had issues too so.. I can't be too upset and it makes me hopeful that I can conceive. However, this whole process is a mind game and I just want to not be depressed about another person in my life getting pregnant. Also, this didn't happen last round after the ovidrel, last night my temp was super high and stayed that way for a long time. I don't do BBT, so this was a normal in-the-mouth temp. But I was at 99.3/99.5 from about 8pm to 1am (then I went to sleep). I'm not sure if this is common as this is only my 2nd round with Ovidrel but... it was definitely annoying =P
CS/Q: None.
GTKY: What's your favorite TV show of all time? Oh goodness... this is difficult. Ummm, probably The Office. I could re-watch it over and over and still laugh at all the jokes. lol
@BMPNAB - I just finished reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and highly recommend you start there to learn about tracking your cycles. How do you know you did the BD in your FW if you haven't been tracking/don't know if you O'd?
I know a lot of ladies on TB have read it too. It's basically the size of a college textbook, but the author is so interesting, funny, and knowledgeable so not hard to get through. And she organizes the chapters really well, so you can read/skip what is applicable to you to start with.
@BMPNAB, welcome! Of course we all wish it were easy to get KU right away, but unfortunately there isn't a quick way! Some ladies are certainly luckier than others. Regarding having 24 hours to get PG: once you ovulate the egg is only viable for 12-24 hours, so yes, technically you have about 24 to get PG. however, sperm can live in the woman's reproductive tract for up to 5 days. So it's best if you can BD several days before ovulation so that the spermies can be ready and waiting. If you haven't watched the great sperm race (YouTube) I would suggest that!

@rainbowturtles my husband does not understand the value of a clean kitchen, it drives me crazy. On the weekends when we don't have anything to do we switch off days and who will sleep in and who will get up with DS and it is basically not even worth it for me to sleep in because every time I come down to a DESTROYED kitchen from their breakfast.
@berg and @Ferrell2B I am currently re-binge-watching all of The Office when I get a free moment and it is totally amazing even the second (or third for some episodes) times around.
@BMPNAB I would definitely, definitely recommend lurking here to learn as much you can about charting - I learned everything I know from reading the TWW and WTO threads (and from follow-up Googling when I didn't understand something). I would also recommend downloading Fertility Friend and starting to track your cycles using a basal thermometer so you can get an idea of when you ovulate. Also, be warned, it can take a while for your cycle to regulate after coming off BC (two months for me this time, three or four last time). Welcome!
Thanks for the info ladies!! Really appreciate it. I'm going away this weekend so will be a perfect chance to read that book, I'll try get my hands on a copy today. @KhRun17 Yeah what I meant is that I am not sure yet if I have ovulated but I have Ovia the fertility app and just from my last AF it generates when your fertile window is supposed to be. Again, I have not tracked enough to even know what my cycles are like. I tried FF but I like Ovia better!
@BMPNAB use what works for you! I haven't used Ovia, so I'm not sure how it predicts your fertile window, is it assuming a day 14 ovulation? Because most of us on here will tell you that's not what we experience. The earliest I've seen personally, since tracking is a day 15 with an average O on day 19-20.
FF is using your input of your temps, which is the only way to truly confirm it, and then you can put in CM, & OPK results. It has a ton of other things you CAN put in, but aren't necessary. I put in symptoms mostly to learn if they're cyclical and related to my hormone levels (learned I get headaches because of that) or if it's actually me getting sick or some other cause.
Good luck! Welcome to the wide world of TTC...the things you will learn from the women here is amazing! Keep lurking, posting, and lurk some more.
@KhRun17 Thanks! I think I will start charting my temps once we have tried for a few months if we have no luck, don't want to overwhelm myself too early in. And your absolutely right, Ovia just came up with a 'fertile window' based on the assumption my cycle is 28 days long. I made sure we have BD every other day for the past two weeks as I want to try to catch that egg. Only 6 days till AF is due and if its a no show I will take my first pregnancy test. This is exciting and scary I guess that is the beauty of it.
@BMPNAB I might recommend you at least track the cycle length - from first day of bleeding to last day before new bleeding. That will at least give you how long your cycles are, so that if they aren't 28 days you know when you're actually "late". I'm on CD 27 (if I remember right) today and won't be considered late until next Wednesday. Just a thought. Not stressful, not really anything extra. Just keep a note pad or something by your bed or whatever and jot down the date your period starts.
