Wondering if any other ladies have had something similar?
My current EDD is May 9th so that places me apx 5w 6d. The very latest day I could have conceived would be the 20th so that place me at 5w 2d... (I had some testing that prevented us from trying after the 20th.)
My Positive at home pregnancy test was the 1st and that line was barely visible.
My HCG on the 7th was 129
73 hrs later My HCG on the 10th was 366
The Nurse today said my numbers should be higher for the timing.... It should have been 366 on the 9th no the 10th. I"m going back in today for more blood.
Has this happened to anyone else? I've had two miscarriages already and I'm trying to stay positive. I'm worried now...
I just wanna chime in too, that remember sperm can survive inside the uterus and tubes for 5+ days. So it's possible you could have conceived later than you thought?

Hi- I posted about this exact same thing just a few days back. You and I are very similar on dates and my levels are even lower. My levels doubled the first time but on the second it did not rise as 'desired'. My last draw they only rose 40% or something. I did my 4th draw today and am waiting for results.
Anyways- I have read and researched about this for the last two weeks and I can tell you that as long as it doubles every 48-72 hours it is still ok. At 48 hours 60% is acceptable and they expect double at 72 hours. It is when it slows down lower to that it becomes worrisome- HOWEVER there are many women who have slower rises and can have a normal pregnancy and there are many who don't experience that. There is not exact science to it but there is evidence the slow rising HCG is associated to Blighted ovum or Ectopic. The level by it self is not that much of a concern but the rate of doubling and how long it takes is. The concern is mostly Ectopic if they don't rise as well which is what your OB should closely monitor you for.
Having said the above, I would say as long as it is rising at least 60% this should be a good sign and some women take a few weeks to get to the doubling rate. HCG is not the sure shot way to tell the health of the pregnancy unless levels are decreasing. It is the US that will really tell so until then just wait and see.
I plan to have a detailed discussion with my RE later this week during my scan and will let you know if I learn anything different. Hang in there mama- I know its hard not to worry.
My dr also told me double in 48-72 hrs. Also, while your numbers seem low, they are still in the range of normal, so I would try to relax for now and see what your next result is. I really hope it was the nurse and not your doctor interpreting results.

When we conceived my daughter I knew the exact date that it happened bc we were being treated for infertility, but even so my due date was 3 days off likely because I implanted later... could be a combination of you being closer to 5w2d than you thought, maybe late implantation, or maybe like a pp said, the sperm could have hung around for a while.
