Saturday sounds good @FishyMom!! And double the intake of pirates booty for me @Spicyweiner, I'm gonna take a break from my snack pantry for whole 30 lol. I miss my salty snacks already and I haven't even officially started, HA!
Anyone want to do a workout challenge? Maybe come up with a 2 week one and then start a real one (maybe squats?) in October?
YESSS!!!! I need challenges. I was always in a fitness challenge or accountability group or training for half marathons before my BFP. I'm in for sure!
@FishyMom YESSS to challenges! I need some motivation to get my butt back in gear! I just came back from the OB and I am up 7.2 lbs already and I'm pretty small and haven't gained a pound since sophomore year of high school so I just about cried. I know it's good to gain weight but I want to feel good about doing it! I would also be up for a wellness challenge @MLRocha but I need it fo' free cause I have no extra moolah to throw around
@xstatic3333 thanks. I will try that one on Tuesday.
@roq_holiday, @starfish113, and @jlellis603 besides these ladies anyone else want to join the challenge?? I am going to keep you all accountable... so someone will need to keep me accountable. I am NOT good at planks so I will do my best.
@jlellis603 if you want to do the diet portion of the wellness challenge, you could do the Whole 30 with me! @MLRocha said it is basically the strictest option of the diet portion of her wellness challenge, and there are tons of free resources online for recipes I love Melissa J.'s blog, and she has a whole section dedicated to amazing Whole 30 approved recipes.
I did 2 Whole 30's last year! I don't think it is in the cards for me right now since I don't have a lot of staples left and we are soooo tight on money. But I will certainly try to get back into the general mindset of a Whole 30 diet ! It is super hard when I'm the only one doing it since my fiancé doesn't care for it.
@FishyMom thanks! I will check that out once I grab my lunch
@xstatic3333 I am thinking the squats would be good for October as a full month challenge. I didn't do any ab work before either but 2 weeks isn't too bad and I seriously doubt I will make the 60s one.
+1 for squat challenge! and I'll jump on board to the planks too. Like others, I wasn't wicked focused on abs before BFP but 2 weeks sounds not awful to me.
Just got back from doing my baseline workout for my eight week challenge and I am really proud that I got through it. My coaches worked with me to determine the right scales for each exercise with the goal of doing the same workout in two months. I probably won't get any faster... But, if I can still make it through everything at 25+ weeks, I'm consider the challenge a success.
Oh, and, the plank challenge starts today... So, I still have that on my list
I did it twice because DH said my butt was way up in the air the first time... It was more of a challenge than I was expecting. Excited to see if I can get all the way up to 60 seconds in two weeks.

Not too crunchy and a good workout. Her dog wanders in at the end, it's kind of funny.

Today was Day 1 of Whole 30 for me, I swapped my normal pb+j breakfast snack sammi for apples with almond butter and a peach
Oh, and, the plank challenge starts today... So, I still have that on my list
