@shadeofgreen816 well I do love me some heath bar in ice cream, so that should help overcome the wedge in our friendship
@Khrun17 I never have even thought to rinse mine off before...
@callalily25 This cylce I had virtually no pre-AF symptoms. Flash back two cycles when my boobs hurt to just exist. Coming off BCP, I haven't had a cycle that has been the same yet. I try not to look into it too much (try being the operative word) because I will drive myself (and DH) insane otherwise. Bodies are wierd and sometimes mean.
@RainyDays86 Good for you on not working weekends! That seems like a horrible work schedule.
@NurseK2016 and @ShadeofGreen816 I feel you on the depression of the first cycle BFN. Here's to hoping it was still just a bit too early for us to test.
@Sugargirl1019 I tested at 9DPO with the pink Assurance. I know that's still really early, but since you said it's not sensitive I'm thinking maybe I should test again...
@achays11 I'm on the BSC train with you! It's a little outrageous. Down to the fact that my eyelid has been twitching for 4 days, which is obviously because I'm KU! Ugh. Major eye roll to myself
@jenshoes the letrozol worked well for me, but your doc might have a specific reason to use clomid. DH had a bit of a hard time when it came to going to the RE, he was willing to do it but absolutley did not want to tell anyone we were getting help. TW* it wasn't until after our loss that he realized it wasnt a big deal and some times you just need help. End TW* good luck and hopefully your RE comes up with a good plan for you.
@rainbowturtles sorry about the BFN today. Good luck with the surgery

@ShadeofGreen816 I am also interested in an electric fence now that our 6 ft privacy fence is a thing of the past. I know you said your dog is a weenie lol, was he a big chaser before the fence? We have a terrier mix who has an unbelievable level of persistence and she loves to chase all things four-legged. She could get her head over a 6 ft fence with a running jump, so I am holding no hope that a smaller fence would work, plus I don't want to break up our beautiful new yard with a fence. I was hoping an invisible fence might be the solution, but I haven't gotten a chance to see if anyone has had success with a dog quite so tenacious as our terrier haha.
@BertieMeetsGertie yes, I breathed a huge sigh of relief on Sat afternoon when we finished!! I tend to be a worrier by nature which turns me into a massive stressball so it's nice that it's over! Only one neighbor who came over yesterday was bold enough to outright ask the kid question, but, then again, my sister was over with her husband and my 1 yr old nephew (and their three dogs.... That was fun) so she may have thought he might be ours. I'm sure we'll get it more as we go along though because from what I've seen everyone who lives here is either a young family with children or recent empty nesters, which is great for the long run, just a little awkward now - as I'm sure you know - haha. We snagged our house from a couple who were downsizing to a condo after raising their kids here.
I'll be back later, but now I have to catch up on work after the ridiculousness that was my morning! Good luck to all testing today!
@chloe97 Thanks for the info! This morning I added the EWCM for yesterday and
it went to dotted CH instead of solid, which I guess is better than taking them
away all together
@BertieMeetsGertie Thanks!
I feel like things are lining up nicely (so far) and am trying so hard not
to get my hopes up too high!
@KhRun17 Thanks! I’ve
learned that our bodies can kind of be assholes sometimes so I’m hoping that’s
not the case here. I keep mine in the

@berg See my comment above, I really don’t understand it
because I had a VERY CLEAR O pattern. *sigh* stupid technology
@NurseK2016 Thanks! I also had dreams of how easy it would
be to get KU. And was brought promptly
back down to earth after that first cycle.
@CallaLily25 I’ve found that the BCP I was on masked my “normal”
PMS symptoms. Either that or I was
completely oblivious to them before.
Needless to say, I get more emotional and tend to get acne more on my
chest and probably a whole score of other things that just aren’t coming to
mind right now
@ShadeofGreen816 Thanks!
If my body is just playing tricks, it would be the cruelest trick ever!
Also, it’s NEVER too early for ice cream J
@IvyMagic828 I’ve never heard of panda paws flavored ice
cream. Who makes it? I would buy it simply because I love the
name!!
@wabash15 Thanks for the info! I feel like hearing that brings me back down
to earth a bit and will make the cushion a bit easier if I get a BFN
@JackieMarie1989 I’ve been researching temp drops around that
time and have found that they really don’t mean anything either way.
@Dilynne I’m with you on the SS. I can’t stop and every little thing starts me
back down the rabbit hole of googling what they could mean
@tamalahoops I generally think this is still too early for

@zwink1 It’s amazing what a difference awesome neighbors can
make! DH and I were so happy to learn
our neighbors were so incredibly nice when we moved last year. One of them even gave us free beer! (although
she does work for a brewery)
@SeriouslySirius Someone used to make an apple pie ice cream
that would come out in the fall but I haven’t been able to find it the past few

R/R: Took a bump break this weekend in hopes of relaxing and maintaining my sanity...didn't help.
CS/Q: Nothing
GTKY: What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Anything chocolate. Mix some brownie chunks in there and I am set. I'm also a big fan of cake batter ice cream. Actually, I'm just a big fan of ice cream in general.
@lulu1180 - Panda paws ice cream is vanilla ice cream with mini peanut butter cups (I guess they're supposed to be panda paw-shaped, haha) and swirls of thick, rich fudge. There is also a chocolate version and a cherry version. Made by Perry's in upstate NY so it might just be a more local brand around here. But sooo good!

Alright, per consensus of the brightest people on the internet ( @Berg@BertieMeetsGertie@callalily25@JackieMarie1989 ), I'm done with thermometer covers. I think I've just used them out of habit, because...that's what you do with a thermometer. But it's just a hassle first thing in the morning to think about.
@wabash15 - I usually don't have oreos but for some reason at the grocery store the Halloween ones called out to me, and I JUST couldn't say no this time. My method is usually to just avoid that aisle, but they were on a center display thing.
@rainbowturtles - Yes, definitely to DH taking his sweet time to finish. Sometimes, I just want it to be quick. Even more-so during FW when it becomes a chore. Recently, I had an eye-opener when I realized that a certain position made it very obvious to me that my CP was very low (I don't usually check it) because it did not feel as nice, and I sat there thinking to myself "do I grin and bear it and hope it's quick, or tell him and then kill the mood?" I sucked it up for probably a minute or two, and decided we're going to talk about it when we're not in the middle of HIO.

I think it's mother nature's cruel joke that pretty much EVERY possible KU symptoms is also a possible PMS symptom. I mean really! I, too, google all of the things.
FWIW my nipples were sore yesterday so, you know, of course I'm KU.

To top off my already BSC, last night I had such a "craving" for ice cream I made DH go to the store with me to pick some up. Hence the reason for the GTKY today
Also, I think DH is nearly convinced I'm already KU.

@KhRun17 I can't remember washing any of our thermometers...maybe a quick rinse off when DS is sick....maybe? And I lose the covers almost as fast as I take the thermometer out
@CallaLily25 my PMS symptoms are usually: my boobs start hurting and I get bloated about a week before AF is due.
@berg I also love ice cream. Like in middle school our garage was detached and I would walk through the snow between the house and garage to grab the ice cream, make a giant bowl, and go back through the snow to take it back love ice cream!
@lulu1180 Cold Stone has a creation called Apple Pie a la Cold Stone. French vanilla ice cream, caramel, apple pie filling, graham cracker crust. I get whipped topping instead of caramel though. I worked at Cold Stone in college, it was awesome- free ice cream every shift!
@lulu1180 I haven't been on the bump long, but that is the most impressively long response thread I've ever seen. Way to really contribute to making this a conversation/setting the bar for responding to each other.
@mrsegan13 I like the dollar tree tests, mine are New Choice brand.
@ShadeofGreen816 sorry your dog is being a jerk! We don't have a fence yet so whenever I'm outside with the dogs I have to be constantly on guard. I thought my oldest dog would only follow the other two dogs and not wander off far on his own so as long as I could see the other two I didn't worry but then I found my old man wandering across the road the other day It's so so scary!!! But now you have me thinking about an invisible fence because we have a big property and the fence DH will have to build would be insane!
Okay I just got home from the procedure and am about to have some Phö...felt I deserved the treat My surgeon had initially thought they used only dissolving stitches but when he reviewed my notes realized he had put in one big non-dissolving stitch so that was definitely the culprit! It felt so so gross with him putting his finger in the incision and then pulling on the stitch once he found it that I got a little whoozy and nauseous but other than that it was okay. I think it will be tender when the freezing comes out and there was a bit of bleeding but I'm just going to take it easy and I think the hardest part will be keeping the dogs off of me lol Thank you all for caring and @BertieMeetsGertie your comment was so sweet and really means a lot
@Sugargirl1019, Thank you! I drove to the Dollar Tree, but they only had the pink ones, so I just skipped it.
I guess I should fill out my whole thing: Month 2/Cycle 1 CD 37/13DPO Negative tests so far (First Response on 11DPO and a brand I now found out is terrible on 12 and 13DPO). My cervix is low today, so I think that means AF. I'm a little concerned though because no symptoms of PMS or temp drop yet. Since my cycle is already beyond normal, I'm getting stressed about the long length and just wanting it to end and see if I'll O sooner in cycle 2. R/R: At this point, just knowing what is going on with my body would be a relief. I don't feel pregnant at all, but I feel weird drinking if there's even a slight chance! CS/Q: How far in advance of AF do you usually see your symptoms start? GTKY: Blue Bell has a new flavor that combines cookies and cream and chocolate chip cookie dough. That's hard to beat...but also Mint Chocolate Chip.

@rainbowturtles I'm so glad your procedure went well and I am glad they found a solution! Hopefully you'll be all healed up in no time. Irritating that they didn't remember or notice that not all the sutures were dissolving. Also, my H definitely has some performance anxiety during the TW. I'm not really sure that I have any ideas to help but know that you're not alone. And I'd be willing to bet that it's not you. Also will be looking for some ideas to help. Finally, see below about my invisible fence.
@zwink1 He's not really a big chaser. He's very into squirrels and rabbits etc, but he is pretty obedient in general. He was treated poorly by someone in the past, and is very receptive to any sort of discipline. If you want to have a relatively risk-free trial, we use a portable invisible fence. I got it on Amazon for somewhere in the neighborhood of $200. I'm pretty sure it's made by Petsafe and it sits in your house and emits a signal in a circle with a radius that you can adjust. The collar has 6 settings with how strong the shock is. One thing I like about it (besides being portable) is that it continues to shock the dog for 30 seconds or until they come back inside the radius. In-ground electric fences tend to shock once when you cross them, which actually makes some dogs afraid to come back into the yard. I hate that I have to inflict any pain on my dog, but its worth it to keep him safe.
@lulu1180 thanks for the justification to eat ice cream! I had to mow the yard today (not normally my chore), so I promptly came in and had some mid-afternoon dessert. No shame.
@lulu1180 here's hoping your body isn't being an asshole for no reason! @shadesofgreen816 - I get it, when ttc we are all BSC, but those other forums! Ugh! I agree, the science and sass here is way better (especially once you figure out what you're doing and join in on sass instead of being the target). I just wanted to yell at some of them...try drinking some water! Dehydration is the main reason for it.
@KhRun17 I'm sorry you have similar troubles with H. I also have tried to hint that my cervix is in different places throughout my cycle so that sometimes it hurts more and I just can't go for a really long time. I definitely have bit the bullet in FW window before tho, despite being pained or just wanting to stop lol It's usually when I switch to doggy and just pray he finishes soon as I dig my nails into the bed and grit my teeth haha oh the things we do! @ShadeofGreen816 if you find any advice, let me know! I know it's probably not helpful to make a fuss about it because then he gets more nervous next time but sometimes I can't help it! ***TMI ALERT: I'm two days from AF and not feeling it but since I was having surgery today and he's leaving tomorrow for 5 days I thought I'd throw him a bone so I put on lingerie to try to make myself feel sexier than I did, honestly, and then was just going to give him a BJ because I honestly didn't want to be touched lol Well he didn't even seem to get fully hard, I was like wtf??!! Trying to be such a good wife here lol He claimed it was because he wanted to do more and knew I didn't want to UGHHH can't win!!!
Also, ty for info on the invisible fence! The thought of inflicting pain on my babies is unpleasant but if it keeps them from getting run over, there's that. I'm just not sure my almost 11yr old dog would even understand what/why it was happening but who knows. It makes sense to try the portable one as I agree that it might make a dog not want to come back INTO the yard if it shocks them when they do so.

No shame.
Edit: autocorrect doesn't like naughty language..
