I'm late to this thread and feeling cranky after a rough week but I have been reading a LOT of info and personal birth experiences both here and elsewhere these last few days and I CANNOT HANDLE people mixing up breath and breathe. Breath is a noun, short e sound. Breathe is a verb, long e sound. Please help a stressed mama out and spell it correctly! Thanks.
@ibabyloveb87 I used to be much worse, but living in a foreign country and speaking another language (whose grammar I'm regularly messing up) has made me more relaxed about it, and I absolutely did not direct that at anyone who is not a native speaker, but for native speakers... Come ON!
@UponAStar16... that is the gist of the onesie my MIL gave us that went promptly into the garbage. Nope! Not funny. Not cute. Don't want my kid in that. Thanks.
Yeah I co-sign the hatred of the "I'm not dating til I'm 30" or "future ladies man" onesies. However, I have half a closet that are full of weird Seinfeld quotes for my husband and rap lyrics for me and the generic "I love my Opa" and stuff like that.
@books&icecream @ibabyloveb87 I am obsessed with grammar, you won't believe the amount of emails I have read at work that almost made my eyes bleed.
I am not a native speaker, I'm Mexican and I know Spanish grammar it's complicated so I get, but not for native speakers....
With English I try to do my best so if any of you corrects me I won't get mad I promise
My husband's English grammar is quite atrocious and something we will be working very hard on before he ever gets to go to America... It's sometimes really funny though.
Though I KNOW my Swahili grammar is a trainwreck.

I'm not a huge fan of words on onesies, but some are ok. DD had one that says, "the snuggle is real." I'll be sticking this little man in that once he's big enough.

That sounds precious... Those are the ones I think are acceptable in moderation. Though, I'm not sure how people are supposed to figure out what's okay and what's not when they're buying us stuff... But whatever.
