Miserably uncomfortable?

3rd baby 29 weeks and I have never been this uncomfortable, and my last baby was 11 lbs!   I feel like I ate 3 Thanksgiving dinners all the time.  I feel over full every second and it sucks.  I usually LOVE pregnancy.   Is it my age (37), my third, or my placenta being in front???  This baby is measuring right on so not expecting overly large baby.   Anyone else???

    Everything hurts. Lol

Normally I would just leave it at that, but I would say the whole not sleeping is wearing me down too. I'll be 29w on sunday...every morning I wake up, my hands are so swollen I can barely curl my fingers. Now I'm having more difficulty breathing now that she's getting bigger. I hate being pregnant, and I'll be thrilled when it's all over lol

  • I just met with my MW yesterday and broke down saying I wasn't enjoying this pregnancy at all because I am so miserable! I HATE that I feel like this! My back is constantly hurting and my bowels are so messed up that I feel absolutely tied to the bathroom.
She thinks I have IBS, so I'm going to do some dietary changes and she approved my disability leave for work. Hopefully I be able to get to the bottom of this!
This is nothing like my last pregnancy and it truly makes me nervous to think that it may be worse if we decide to have another baby.
I'd give anything to feel as great as I did last time!

  • Yeah I feel this was pretty often now too. I am trying to remember if I felt like this with DD or maybe its just because I have a toddler to run around after that is wearing me down, IDK. Either way this time around it feels harder. Im also 38 so maybe age is a factor too?
  • This is my 3rd pregnancy that's lasted this long.  I like being pregnant, but I can definitely tell I've hit the 3rd trimester.  Everything aches!!  Sleeping is hard.  I am 38 and this is my easiest in terms of how my body feels(of course having 2 little kids already makes everything tougher), but it's still hard to be getting this big.

  • Yes! This is my 4th baby 8th pregnancy and I feel horrible I'm 31w+4d I went from being so sick and everyone telling I looked awful to my back and legs killing me and feeling like a beached whale! I also do not sleep well so during the day I'm  exhausted to the point I sleep for hours while my kids are at school and I'm drained by 8pm. I hate to break it to you ladies but it's not your age I'm 27 will be 28 10/3 and can't wait till this is over! I tell my DH if my other pregnancies were this bad we would have never had more then 2 kids....
  • @MrsBigTime I feel you with the bathroom issues and the pain it causes! Hope your MW is right and you get some relief.
  • I'm the opposite. I feel really good and it's weird lol. My pregnancy last year was so hard and ended up with a placental abruption at 38 weeks. Constant contractions. Back pain. Whole nine yards. So I feel for you.

@BabysMomma4 glad this time has been easier for you! The previous posts were making me question having another already lol :D (FTM)
  • It feels harder, but I'm sure that I felt the same last time. Not sleeping as well at night and the nausea is coming back. I remember that happened with my first. I'm starting to get tired more too. The only difference I think is my hip pain I've had since week 12. The loose ligaments are terrible and the pain seems to linger all day, get better with rest at night and come right back again by mid morning. I can't wait for the baby to get here!
  • I hurt everywhere - my feet are super swollen, hurts when I walk or stand up from using the toilet, can't scrub my back in the shower, every sleep position is awful, my vision has deteriorated and sometimes my head hurts, I pee so much and still feel urgency right after, everything feels out of whack and I have gd. Plus there are so many doc appts I'm feeling sidelined at work.

But im a ftm and still feel excited enough that I want two babies (eventually) - DH asked if I'd be up for another pregnancy and I was like yes I want two

Totally miserable... officially in my 3rd trimester this week, and this is night #2 of insomnia, day #2 of heartburn, on top of the constant hemmroids, yeast infections, allergies, head aches, and left side sciatica. Failed my 1-hour GD test tuesday, going back tomorrow. Heart rate has been unbearably high making me uncomfortably out of breath most of the day, even while sitting/lying down. For the first time, I seriously want a note to be off work...
I have an appt with my OB monday to discuss tomorrow's 2-hour GD test results and an appt thursday with a high-risk OB to discuss the heart rate results (wore a holter for 24 hours, got thyroid checked, echocardiogram done), I'm hoping someone will have a miracle cure for all my ailments!! But obviously that's wishful thinking.

Looks like this turned into a rant. Bottom line: cannot wait to have her in my arms instead of in my body.

This is my 4th and  I'm 40. My youngest is 3 years old. This pregnancy has been like no other. I'm not sure if it's age  or because I have  3 year old to run behind. Also, I had a cerclage placed at 20 weeks and am on light duty. I'm used to being active. My biggest issue now is stiffness/ soreness and now heartburn.
  • My first pregnancy at 24 yrs old was twins.  I had numerous appointments, bed rest, injections, morning sickness, and constant pelvic pressure.  I still have good memories despite it all.  This time around I am 40 and only one baby.  Knock on wood . . . But this pregnancy has been amazing.  I am 31 weeks and yes I get heartburn if I eat too close to bedtime.  There are aches and pains depending on the day.  Sometimes I can't sleep.  I also have GD.  Overall I think every pregnancy is different.  Remember it is only temporary . . .

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I feel awful.  I'm tired, I'm uncomfortable, I go from wide awake to lethargic in a snap and honestly, I'm just going to say it....I don't want to work anymore.

I want to succumb to my body's schedule and forget the real world until baby comes (in 8 weeks).

My Dr says it's my age, I was in my 20s with my first 2 and I loved being pregnant. Being in my mid 30s has made me question ever doing this again, although I would love to give this one a sibling close in age. We'll see. Because right now, I'm just ready to be done with it.
