GTKY: What did you want to be when you grew up (borrowed from October 2016 community, Friday's ticker change, and Tuesday's ticker change. It's just a good question  :) )?

    What size is baby?
    A head of cauliflower, a deflated basketball, a head of lettuce
    Upcoming appointments?
    I'm sitting in the glucose testing office right now with about 4 other pregnant ladies! Man that drink is gross! And my 28 week appointment is next Tuesday.
    Rants/Raves/Questions?
    Nothing really.
    Symptoms?
    I'm getting more sore, especially in the hips and I have to pee all the freaking time. Also getting more tired again.
    GTKY: What did you want to be when you grew up?
    I wanted to be a paleontologist from about 5th grade all the way up through junior year of college. When I switched to Computer Science my mom told me, "I always knew you would do that."

    What size is baby? Head of lettuce, acorn squash

    Upcoming appointments? I'm also sitting in the lab waiting room mid-glucose test! Drink wasn't too bad. Getting the blood drawn is still rough for me. I'm a baby. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Fasting SUCKS. I'm heading over to Panda Express right after this. 

    Symptoms? Swollen legs and feet are coming back from a 2 week break. Also, when I walk for prolonged periods (I tend to walk fast too) my belly tightens up like I stretched it too much. 

    GTKY: What did you want to be when you grew up? There wasn't anything specific I can remember from when I was a kid, but during high school and most of college I had plans to be a lawyer in the Navy. Yes, "A Few Good Men" is one of my favorite movies. But then I joined a band in college and there went that plan. So I became a high school teacher (???)   Life is weird sometimes.

    Upcoming appointments? Next week is my glucose test and 28 week appointment. Not looking forward to that one. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Third tri finally!!! Less than 3 months to go- woo hoo!!!!

    Symptoms? Pain in my shoulders and back, discomfort always when sleeping, painful varicose veins, the usual fatigue, heat intolerance, heartburn off and on. Blah. 

    GTKY: What did you want to be when you grew up? In early elementary school I wanted to be a teacher (my dad was one). By 5th grade I wanted to be a pharmacist and a mom. And voila. I'm living the dream. :) Most people are shocked that I knew what career I wanted at age 10 and actually followed that, but I really had my heart set on it and I am thankful I was able to achieve the goal.

    Had one today with my new OB. Have to repeat my damn glucose in 3 weeks cause my old OB made me take it too early.

    Rave: We got our keys to our new house today!
    Rant: Now I want our stuff to get here so we can actually move in. I've got at least another week =\

    Symptoms?
    Nothing weird. Been pretty lucky so far. Waiting for the other shoe to drop.

    Never really had anything in mind. My go to answer was "marry rich" from about ages 5-10 :)

    Upcoming appointments? going back to the specialist tomorrow to see if my placenta has migrated north.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? took the 1 hour glucose last weekend. That is not a fun experience!

    Symptoms? So much gas. I just don't understand where it is all coming from!! I'm also starting to experience preggo insomnia, which is not fun when you still have full days of work and grad school during evening.

    GTKY: What did you want to be when you grew up (borrowed from October 2016 community, Friday's ticker change, and Tuesday's ticker change. It's just a good question   )?  I wanted to be an art teacher. I realized I am no good at art... So that dream was crushed when I was pretty young haha. Ended up being a 5th grade teacher who excels in stick figure art :)
