Anyone Doing October FET? (CP Mentioned)

Hi Ladies,

I'm feeling a bit out of the game lately... I'm waiting for AF in anticipation of doing a FET in what I assume will be October.  I suffered a CP almost a month ago after my first IVF cycle.  AF is taking forever to start.  I thought she would be starting any day now, but really in the last couple of days I've noticed the symptoms I generally have around ovulation time (stretchy EWCM), so I guess it could be another couple of weeks before I see her!

I'm a little annoyed because I feel like we should've been trying on our own these last couple of days... But we didn't.  We just came back from a weekend away visiting friends.  Sounds like a perfect formula for a little sexy time, but since we stayed at their house, I guess I found it a little awkward to BD there.  Maybe that's weird, but I didn't want to risk messing up their sheets, haha!  We also had really busy days/late nights doing activities with them, which has also left us both feeling pretty beat.  Now I'm regretting not trying though, as we've prob missed my fertile window for this month.  I just feel like time is moving so slowly right now.  I have to wait for AF... Which could be weeks away... Then I have to take BCPs for at least 3 weeks... Then have a 19 day stim cycle, at the end of which will be my transfer.  Ugh!

Is anyone else in the waiting game for this?  I feel bad like I'm missing what's going on with everyone since I started back to work a couple of weeks ago.  I feel like I have no time to get on here... I try to read some posts when I can, but am finding it hard to keep up when I see "76 new posts," etc. on each thread, haha.  I hope everyone is doing well... Feel free to fill me in on what's going on with you guys... and good thoughts to all...

Infertility is basically a pseudonym for 'waiting game' lol. Hurry up AF!!!! Hurry up clinic wait time! Hurry up 2ww!!!

I'm planning on having an October FET! It was supposed to be September, but I have 3 cysts. So yes, I am waiting too- waiting to finish my latest round of BCP, waiting to see if the cysts have disappeared.....FX for us both!

@FatPony So true!     @omarismyhomeboy Don't ya just hate it when you have to wait?!  I hope your cysts have disappeared so you can FET... We'll have to keep in touch with how things are going, since we'll be close in our schedules.  How much longer do you have to take BCPs?

I know most of us have spent years tracking our cycle and so we get this little glimmer of hope when we have our "fertile window." I have let it go, it's not happening that's why I'm putting my body through this torture because the likelihood of anything happening naturally at this point is pointless to even consider. I think this new attitude has made my relationship with DH more playful...the act of letting go! I was also waiting for AF but it came yesterday (a week early but I had a feeling it was coming). I'm doing IVF cycle and not FET at this point. Good luck!

@mandasand You are probably right... Us not trying during the fertile window this month probably makes no difference after 4 years of no luck.  But we with IF are always so hopeful aren't we?  Haha.  I just kept thinking that because I recently did all of those hormones and suffered a loss that somehow I might be more fertile... Wishful thinking, especially since I am most likely not the one with the issue.  DH's morphology is low... I have such conflicted feelings about that.  He's like a 1 out of the "normal" 4%.  My RE has always made it sound like it's still possible for us to get PG naturally because men with that issue can still father children.  However I've been doing more reading recently (online, so who knows how accurate), but most things I've read consider 1% to be significantly low and that conception is not likely without IVF.  Geez!  Maybe we wouldn't have waited this long to do IVF if that's the case.  We started with least invasive (both financially and physically) and worked our way up after things didn't work.  Anyone else have a morphology issue who can shed some light?

@joneser1281 Hey girlie! I am here waiting with you and you other ladies too We had to delay a month to get the meds together and with the Lupron trigger its a required freeze all so we most likely won't be transferring until Nov with the ER the first week of Oct most likely.

@Joslynj11 Glad to have your company!  The wait is hard... I'm hoping AF comes later this upcoming week.  @caseyw8784 I'm not sure yet either!  Haha.  I guess it could be into November, depending how long I have to stim and how things go.  I'm looking forward to us all keeping in touch during this round... Hopefully the last round for all of us!
