How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same?
Different: so much nausea without much throwing up. Can still fit into a few pre-pregnancy things (at this point last time I was just a big ball of bloat). Same: I'm pregnant.
Weekend updates? Spent the entire weekend wishing I could sleep and when I was trying to sleep I couldn't get comfortable. Awesome.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Shredded beef enchiladas with refried beans and spanish rice. Sadly, beef is not my friend this pregnancy.
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same?
Same: fatigue, sore boobs
Different: some nausea, and some dizziness
Weekend updates?
Went out of town and returned even more exhausted. DS had an accident overnight in a hotel and was up pretty much the rest of the night. It was miserable!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? I am so tired this pregnancy. Never was this exhausted with DS. And no heartburn this time! Yay!!
How is this pregnancy the same? So much nausea and vomiting, and just feeling crappy overall
Weekend updates? I seriously can't cook anymore. We eat out all the time now because I just can't stand cooking
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pizza. And that's a good thing because we've been eating it a ton lately!!!
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? I feel pretty good and not miserably nauseous all day like with my girls! I guess the "same" aspect is the constant need to pee!
Weekend updates? My husband will be going to a house auction this week, so we could potentially be homeowners again soon!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Can I choose a category? If so, Mexican!! I want queso NOW!
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same?
I'm not nearly as ill but I'm so tired. I found out my iron is crazy low so that's probably why. This pregnancy has me really sad, that's not to say I'm not happy for this little peanut, but I'm just feeling down the last few days.
Weekend updates? We did nothing and it was marvelous.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? All food sounds disgusting at the moment I can't even think of something...
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? I'm super nauseous with this one which I never had with the other three.
Weekend updates? It was just a busy weekend with a busy week ahead...I'm already planning when I can sleep!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheese pizza
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? Started vomiting, so more similar to DD than DS. Still feel way more exhausted than before. This first tri has also flown by.
Weekend updates? Cleaning up the raw egg my son cracked on carpet made me gag. That was fun. Everyone in my house has had a stomach bug and when that started to ease up DD started teething. I need a vacation.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Tough one. My instinct is avocado, but guac would be a close second.
How is this pregnancy the same/different? Same - I am still pretty tired. I napped A LOT this weekend. Different - So nauseous this time. I usually start the day feeling ok but by afternoon I don't feel good and evenings are the worst.
Weekend updates? I did a lot of nothing this long weekend. It was wonderful. On Saturday we took DS to a little free zoo about 20 minutes away from us and then in the evening went to the park with friends but that's as active as I got. Hubby was so amazing getting cleaning and projects done around the house but about all I could do was grow my human and try to survive.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Currently that's hard to answer as most food sounds disgusting but probably chips and dips/salsa of some sort.
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? Guys... oooof. I think my morning sickness is worse this time, which I didn't think was humanly possible. That being said, while I'm more nauseated, I also am able to eat more than last time. This pregnancy thing is just so nonsensical.
Weekend updates? Well, Saturday I went to bed at 6:30 pm and slept until 7:00 am the following day, so there's that......
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?: Normally pasta/pizza, but if that was my only food right now I wouldn't survive since I can't eat it. Man, I am WHINY. I'll be better in October...
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same?
I remember being tired last time, but this is like deep down to my bones, pass out in the middle of the day and have crazy vivid dreams tired. Last time around I wasn't up at 6 every morning chasing a 3 year old around, so I think that might have something to do with it.
Nausea is the same as last time. Awful. But, I had forgotten just how awful.
Weekend updates?
I was so ridiculously tired. We also had a couple of social events where I had to make up excuses about not drinking, so that was awkward. I'll be so glad when we can tell people.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
How is this pregnancy the same/different?: So far it's been pretty similar. Got all the nausea without the vomiting this weekend, extreme fatigue, just less food aversions so far
Weekend updates: spent the whole weekend on the couch due to nausea
GTKY: hmm I think it's a toss up between flaming hot Cheetos (specifically the lime ones), ice cold watermelon and home made perogies
How is this pregnancy the same/different? They are running pretty identical with the food aversion but I'm so much more tired this time around
Weekend updates? I took 2 hr naps every day with DS and it was glorious! We did take him to the zoo and he loved it. We also told our families we were expecting another one so that was pretty exciting.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Tacos - all day, every day.
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? it's been pretty similar so far, except for some insomnia that hits around 3AM
Weekend updates? I went with my SIL to help her pick out a couch and ended up buying a new much needed bedroom set and couch. Couldn't pass up the labor day sale!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mac and cheese mmmm
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? Different- not as much anxiety. I had already had 2 sch by now with my first, plus IF nerves, so it's nice to have an uneventful 1st tri
Same- I'm still in denial.
Weekend updates? Nothing new in the baby department. DS starts preschool on Thursday so it's going to be so hard to watch him go!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Noodles. I don't care if it's Italian, Chinese, or whatever. Give me all the noodles.

I was way more exhausted my previous pregnancy. But I'm way more nauseous this time. I was also much more excited the first time around. Not that I'm not excited this time around, but PGAL brain is still a thing. So I'm always worried that I will go in for my next US and something will be wrong. Never had those fears with DS.
Weekend updates? We told all our family these weekend. Everyone seems to be happy and excited. They were all supportive through my loss, so it's great they are excited this time around too.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Tacos are life!
@twistsandturnsto2 DS started preschool a few weeks ago and it was definitely a lot harder for me than it was for him. He loves preschool! Good luck on the first day.
1. 8 weeks, 2 days 2. Exhausted, I was never this tired with my first. Also, nausea throughout the day. @STM2017 I feel ya, I've been eating out for weeks. Putting on weight so much faster this time around. I better get it together by the second trimester. 3. Went out of town for the weekend. I was tired the whole time. Should have stayed home. We did tell my mom and my sisters we are expecting! 4. PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA
@KirstinH88 thanks! We went today to meet his teachers and that was nice. H will also be handling the drop off for a while since it will be easier for all involved, myself included, lol. We've never really had a babysitter, other than parents/ILs, so this will all be quite the change for DS. But much needed!

I know exactly what you mean. My MIL has watched DS since he was a baby. He cries when he is left with other family members. Even just yesterday, my mom wanted to take him out for a few hours and he cried the whole time, so she brought him back after 30 minutes. But he loves preschool. He has other kids his age to play with and he loves doing all the arts and crafts activities. I think it also helps that he has big brothers who go to school, so it's cool to be just like them. And he only goes for 3 hours, short and sweet introduction to school, and then my MIL picks him up.
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? More bloat, nausea this time. Same...just as paranoid about loss since both pregnancies are after a chemical.
Weekend updates? Used our pool for probably the last time this season. If DH gets a job elsewhere this year, it could be the last time ever!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mashed potatoes, and that's not even pregnancy related, I just love mashed potatoes.
How far along are you? 7 weeks ish, will get the final date at my 1st appointment in 2 weeks
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? I had extreme fatigue this weekend and really didn't think I'd be able to walk from the store to the store, let alone to run back in to get an extra item.
Weekend updates? DS1 is turning 1 this weekend! We'll do something special for him but his party is in early October.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? NOODLES. Beef lo mein, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, char kway teow, I love noodles
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? I haven't had the all day sickness I had with my first but have thrown up more (figured out why so I hope to curb that for the future!) I am also sooooooo hungry and if I don't eat/drink constantly I get a headache and get nauseous!
Weekend updates? Busy weekend. Went to the fair Saturday then had a BBQ at our place afterwards, swim lessons Sunday and time with my parents while DH worked and then breakfast with family Monday followed by games and a BBQ at our house again!!!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Really anything (I am that hungry) but I am in love with Dunkin Donuts strawberry banana smoothies right now!
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? So very different! I am nauseous most mornings, if I don't eat I get more nauseous and then a weird cycle is perpetuated of being either nauseous or hungry/nauseous. I've thrown up a number of times, which I didn't do with the first two.
How is this pregnancy the same? Tired to my core!
Weekend updates? Nothing crazy. Trying to help my 5 year old DD transition to kindergarten. She has been very mommy clingy and it's been hard to help her because she is so worried about everything.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Depends on the day! Right now, tacos sound delicious!
How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? I'm horribly sick compared to no morning sickness at all last time so that sucks. overly exhausted and running around after an 18 month old..wheeeeew.
Weekend updates? had a great holiday weekend with my nugget while hubby was at work!
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? pizza!

How is this pregnancy different from your first/others? How is this pregnancy the same? This time I am growing at an exponential rate. I swear I developed a spare tire over the weekend.
Weekend updates? It was a nice weekend! We bought a new (to us) car, which was fun. Relaxed a lot and went swimming on Labor Day.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Um pizza.
2. Same: tired, tired and more tired. Different: Pregnancy brain big time - I missed a huge meeting at work last week and it's so not like me. I'm also having much more sickness all day. Also, my first, I knew exactly how many days/weeks, etc. I'm not even sure what my due date is, I have to keep doing a calculator because I forgot.
3. We had DD's 3d birthday party. Pretty low key but she was so so happy and it was fun to celebrate her.
4. If I liked your post, I want your food! Can I just claim all Mexican food?
5. You didn't ask, but I already look 5 months pregnant. Yikes!

5. You didn't ask, but I already look 5 months pregnant. Yikes!
I cried last night when I saw myself in the mirror after getting undressed. I seriously looked at least 6 months along too. I know its all bloat... and carbs but still not what I want to see.
@BeachMommy2B I'm sorry you felt so upset! It's definitely frustrating. I don't mind getting big from being pregnant, but I wish it was baby and not bloat. There is no way people aren't wondering at work. I cannot hide it with my clothes any more.
Me: 31 DH: 36 Married 5 years DD born 8/30/13 #2 expected 4/25/17
@cafedisco, I am in the same boat, my clothes for work just aren't cutting it anymore and I'm sure people are wondering. Still not really ready to tell them though so I guess they'll just have to wonder!
@mylittleirvz and @cafedisco I'm basically only wearing flowing type dresses to work now. Pants are not longer cutting it. I'm just so bloated i'm uncomfortable.
@beachmommy2b, I wish my dresses would work right now but the few I have are definitely accentuating the bloat, not hiding, wahh! I am wearing mostly maxi skirts and loose tops but I don't have very many of those either so not much wardrobe variety right now!

I'm sorry
I'm feeling the same and it's really frustrating to me. With my first, I didn't really show until around 25 weeks. With this pregnancy, it's like my uterus was like "hey, I remember this! ::exxxxpannnddd::. I really do dislike these early weeks of feeling so out of sorts, puffy and sick

How far along are you? 9+5

DD: 6/20/11

5. You didn't ask, but I already look 5 months pregnant. Yikes!
