@Kate08Young I've read that they normally don't do versions until a baby has reached a certain size as well as near complete lung development. You've seen different I'm guessing?
Granted I'm almost 29 weeks, but I was assured both before and after my transfer that if LO was breech they could invert or deliver her breech. They have annual trainings that they do to make sure they can safely do it- as they try to be the most VBaC friendly place around.
ETA: I also had both steroid shots last week.

Cool! I have been under the impression that it's not possible until close to term, so that's good to know - though I've decided on a scheduled cesarian anyway...
Thinking of you mama! Just curious - I always wonder how they diagnose a funneling cervix in mid-pregnancy. I didn't think internal exams were common at that point, so how is it found? Are their symptoms that would warrant a check and diagnosis?
@atcwag I'm not who you were talking to, but mine was diagnosed at my AS. They did all the abdominal measurements and since they couldn't get a 3cm reading on my cervix they added a transvaginal. Then when they got the longest measure at .87 all hell broke loose. Referred to MFM, cerclage, bedrest, transvaginal every 2 weeks to check progress.
up to that point I had no signs that anything was wrong. No bleeding, extra pressure, not a clue.
Then when I reported odd ~30 min light BH they did a regular check and transvaginal. Since it was a .4 and looked like the Grand Canyon I got transferred to a better NICU, and more in depth monitoring.

It was discovered at my 20 week ultrasound. With an abdominal ultrasound they couldn't get a good measurement so I had to go back to a transvaginal ultrasound so they could get an accurate measurement.
Hey everyone, it's been a crazy past 30 hours here. I don't have much time to give all the details but will come back here when things slow down a bit and give some info on our labor story/delivery story. Our little boy is here!
Elliot Mark has arrived. Born September 17th at 3:50am. 25 weeks 1 day gestational age. He weighs 1lb 12oz and is 13 inches long.
Thank you so much for your continued thoughts, prayers and good wishes. It's going to be a long road with this little one but we are ready to take on all that life throws in our direction.
