Thanks for the shared thoughts @adorebella and @rdh33 on solar panels. We were debating on whether to move or not recently but both my H and I love the house and school system so I think we both decided that this is our forever home after all. That said, I think we will proceed with solar panels as our state does offer incentives/tax breaks.
@ceclarlinetlo Stranger Things was amazing. I used to be excited all day to get home and get the littles off to bed so we could resume the next episode and now that we watched all, I feel a touch of sadness that there are no more to watch. We watched HBO's The Night After which wasn't quite as good but still entertaining, and are looking for more recommendations of series to watch.
Today I have been possessed with the need to clean and organize the entire house. I literally am going room to room with a dust cloth and a trash bag. Is it too soon to be nesting? Watch out dust bunnies, here I come!
@ceclarlinetlo and @gigantan, I loved stranger things! So dark and bizarre and scary without being too scary! Right now we are binging on a show on Amazon called Mr. Robot. It reminds me a lot of Dexter.
My parents are up for the weekend/week and she's making my Grandma's spaghetti sauce and my whole house smells delicious!!! Last night my Dad made baked potatoes and grilled pork chops, which I normally hate but they were SO good. Love having my parents here--to visit as well as make me delicious food! Lol
@BAJDesigns@shlecka I'm doing the same thing. My mom came up to help me pull all of my old baby clothes out of the shop building. I had to throw some stuff away that water had gotten into the tubs somehow. I sorted everything by size and tossed anything not in good shape. I have lots of washing to do now. I think I'm going to take everything to the laundry mat next weekend to get it all done at one. Then, I'll have to clean out the closet in the guest room to store it all. I also discovered that I've given away all of my smallest clothes premie and newborn sizes, so it looks like I get to go tiny clothes shopping.
@BAJDesigns Definitely not too soon for nesting. I got hit hard with it this weekend and was curious and found some blurb about it:
The first surge to expect
A lot of moms-to-be do big-time nesting in the second trimester, when their energy level is at its highest. You might find yourself noticing things that need fixing or reorganizing. You might look around your home and realize that you need to squeeze in an entirely new person — and all of his or her stuff —and clean out closets and drawers to make room. You might do some deep cleaning because things seem too germy for a vulnerable newborn's environment. You might do all of the above. sometimes, the tasks are huge, like a kitchen remodel; other times, it’s as simple as finally finishing that scrapbook. it could be baby-related or not.
Mine went from 34D to 36DD which is insane for me and similar to your size. Even at 34D I was big for my size so now it's just ridiculous and un comfortable.
I only bought one bra is my size cause I know I will get bigger... So crazy what our bodies do
Also, I found a tub in The garage with some of my previous maternity clothes in it. There were 2 super soft, stretchy nursing bras in there. I'm so excited because this underwire had got to go already.
Yeh, I've always been a bit big for my size, and hard to find shirts. Now?? Omg most of my shirts I am busting out of! And it's so awkward, I am very uncomfortable showing cleavage, and lately it's been like "Where did that come from??" Lol
With DD, I had no anxiety leading up to the anatomy scan, but this time around is another story! DH and I are watching Grey's Anatomy together and lately it seems like every episode involves a sick baby, and every case has me thinking, "what if...?", and then last night I had a very realistic dream that I was pregnant with twins, which the doctors didn't realize until I delivered, and then one was stillborn. Anatomy scan is Friday... I think I might have to tell DH I need a break from Grey's until then!
@ceclarlinetlo@gigantan and @JustJaney I'm totally with you on the Stranger Things!! DH and I FINALLY started watching Sunday night, and were up till 3am LOL watched 4 episodes back to back then watched the other 4 yesterday...now it's going to be forever till season 2!!!!

Grey's has some kind of vendetta against babies, I swear! Every season has worse and worse baby story lines!
