Re: Petty Problem Saturday! 9/3/16

  • @orangeev Ahhhh bummer. Maybe you have a friend or something who is interested in trying it out? If it hasn't been used I feel like I wouldn't be weirded out but maybe others are..

  • @OrangeEv I did the same thing with the Lunette except I actually tried it several times to get the feel of it. When customer service wondered how my experience was, I explained my situation and she said to contact her after baby and we could work something out if my size didn't fit. She claimed many women still use their smaller size post birth. I also read about a company (don't remember which one tho) that gives u a discount if you give your old cup to someone who otherwise wouldn't have tried one...
  • I want to get a diva cup, I've heard they're awesome once you get the hang of it. I don't like pads or tampons especially so I'm hoping this would be a nice alternative.

  • I love them @Schell2013! But there definitely is a learning curve and it's probably not pleasant for the squeamish. However, for those who have given birth, I imagine  its waaaaay more pleasant than that :)
  • I can't get behind the cup. I love the concept, but I can't do it. I'm a tampon girl all the way.
  • I have a headache. I am so mad. I was sick for a week and felt like shit. I just don't think it's fair to feel bad AGAIN.

  • Just a little BTDT FYI stuff: You diva cup girls may not end up having to size up. And some of you may even need a smaller one... I know once I healed up and shrank back down down there, everything (and I mean everything) was a much snugger fit. I wasn't expecting that at all, but I'm not complaining by any means!
  • 1. Until this thread, I had never heard of a diva cup. Do I live under a rock?? Ha

    2. @AllyTheKid That's good to know!!

  • Ha I did the same thing @OrangeEv I bought the diva cup and a couple weeks later found out I was pregnant...it's been sitting under the cabinet.

I used to use the instead disposable cups all the time, but after I had ds they just didn't seem to fit right and always leaked. I was hoping the diva cup wold fix that problem.

  • @ibabyloveb87 you're not alone. Had no clue. I'll stick with tampons. LOL
