Upcoming appointments this week? NT scan in 2 days!
Any new symptoms or changes? Lightning crotch for the first time yesterday - mentioned on the Symptoms thread. Fun times.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I took my first bump pic yesterday and shared it with DH and BFF. They say a bump is definitely there! I'm excited to start doing that on a weekly basis. I'm currently doing a side-by-side of sucking in gut and relaxed gut, namely because I know the bump is still part-bloat but I'm at least now convinced it's not fat. My gut does not behave the way it is currently doing when I've simply eaten too many chicken mcnuggets.
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? ... Sigh. Keeping up the with Kardashians. Although mostly the earlier seasons. The ones post Reggie Bush just get kind of weird. Not that the show was ever normal to begin with.

Upcoming appointments this week? Besides hospital visit (see rant below), I have my NT scan tonight with my MFM followed by regular OB visit, can't wait to see those babies!! Taking DD for the first time, she was so excited when I told her they put a "camera" on my belly and she can see the babies on the tv!
Any new symptoms or changes? morning sickness gotten worse, and more bloating, my rings have gotten tight, but still able to wear them
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- I was sent to the hospital yesterday due to severe vomiting & dehydration, they gave me iv fluids and zofran, feeling better today, just drained, morning sickness can kiss my @ss LOL
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? Pretty Little Liars is my guilty pleasure one! I feel like i'm double their age, but I have watched it from day 1, and am so sad it's ending! I hope they tie up all loose ends!

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope
Any new symptoms or changes? MS is a little better this week so far, only felt a little gaggy yesterday but not much today. Boobs still sore, still peeing up a storm. Woke up this morning super stuffy and sneezy.
Rants/Raves/Questions? End of first tri!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!! Found out baby is low risk per my NIPT results and we are having a girl. No one knows but me right now, going to reveal to my family this weekend over the holiday.
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? I love trashy reality TV like Bachelor in Paradise/Bachelor/Bachelorette as well as shows like Married at First Sight, 90 Day Fiance, Million Dollar Listing etc. I think watching people who are hot messes make me feel better about myself as well as it is highly entertaining!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing new. Still not feeling like this is real besides hearing the heartbeat!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I just purchased a TON of maternity clothes from a local resale site for $50. Score!! Most of it is Motherhood brand.
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? This is a no judging zone, right? Ha! Teen Mom OG is my guilty pleasure. I started watching 16 & pregnant when I was around 16 so I've kind of grown with the ladies on the show.

@Dubcompanion I have been taking pictures of myself since about 7 weeks- Definitely getting bigger but still feel like I look more blump than bump.

How big is baby? A lime, or a bee hummingbird, which they say is the size of a bumble bee and seems conflicting to me lol I think they are just trying to be creative
Upcoming appointments this week? yes! Tomorrow we have our NT scan! MH and I are both off of work and it'll be so cool to see baby looking like a baby, and moving all around!! I know there's a large blood screening they are doing so I'm wondering if that will tell us the gender, but I wouldn't want to know just yet, but I feel awkward asking because they might think I only care about that lol. And also all of my test results show up online on "mychart" after they are processed and I wouldn't want to just see it by myself!
Any new symptoms or changes? headaches for sure, a little caffeine seems to have helped it each time, a little tips from one of my friends who is a mom
she's been the best with tips and item suggestions! I'm feeling bigger each week, but I don't know at what point I'll feel comfortable having something actually showing.
Rants/Raves/Questions? just can't believe it's week 11! Part of me feels like it has taken forever to get here and then the other part is like only 29 weeks left?! There's so much to do! Lol, that's my type A control freak needing everything to be in order

hands down all of the Real Housewives, I can't get enough! At one point right after college when we were living with H's family before we found an apartment, his dad would sit down and watch it with me and eventually got super into it and was like "oh my god I can't believe Teresa did that, Melissa should obviously be upset with her!" And it would crack me up! He's the best FIL ever

Any new symptoms or changes? Daily headaches and still getting sick

Rants/Raves/Questions? RAVE: I cannot wait to find out the sex next week! RANT: I'm really annoyed by someone I'm being forced to work with (the assistant of the attorney for one of my employees who is going through a divorce). I'm HR and I genuinely LIKE people, but this chick thinks she's much more intelligent than she is. She's struggling with basic math and forcing me to breakdown WHY she is wrong because she's convinced she is right. Come onnnnnnnn, man. Not today. Not on my birthday when I commuted in the rain and have already thrown up twice.
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? The Bachelorette/Bachelor - I know its ridiculous, but I can't help myself. Definitely not my favorite, but certainly a "guilty pleasure" tv show.

@MrsNap_515 same! I still watch some OC if it's on, but them, Beverly Hills and, NJ are really the only ones I watch. I don't care how crazy those ladies are, I find it so entertaining lol

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope. NT scan & genetic testing Sept. 9th. Womp.
Any new symptoms or changes? Tummy "straining". Not exactly pain per se, but it just seems like it's stretching out a bit.
Rants/Raves/Questions? In my mind, I thought 1st tri was over after 12 weeks, but I'm realizing that that is now not true. Also now have another 3 weeks or so before getting results of genetic testing, so outside our immediate family and the couple very close friends I've told for sanity's sake, I have to keep the lid on this for almost another month. BTW, when is the official end of first tri?
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? Real Housewives of NY, OC, NJ, and Beverly Hills and the shady LMN movies. I love all "The Wrong Roommate/Assistant/Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Farmer/Whatever" movies.

Upcoming appointments this week? Waiting to hear from someone to schedule a dating ultrasound.. its been a week, still no call.
Any new symptoms or changes? I feel pretty faint if I don't snack every 2-3 hours. Also, my neighbours asked my SO if I was expecting. (We're pretty close to them, they are much older and wiser and they meant no offence by it but said they can just tell, and said I'm starting to show.)
Rants/Raves/Questions? Nada, but I would love to get the show on the road for my dating ultrasound. Wondering how long I should wait before calling my midwife back? She said this ultrasound was supposed to be done between 11 and 13 weeks.
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? Greys Anatomy hands down.. I'm counting down the days for the new season!

@onefootinthebayou I thought the same thing about the 1st trimester. I woke up on the day I was 13 weeks and looked at my Ovia app only to find it still saying 1st trimester. Boo. Apparently the 2nd trimester doesn't officially start until 14 weeks.
How far along are you? 14 weeks!! So excited for the 2nd trimester. I hope everything is still going well in there.
How big is baby? Peach/House mouse
Upcoming appointments this week? None this week.
Any new symptoms or changes? A few headaches and MS. For the first 12 weeks I had a low constant MS and I only actually got sick once. Now I have gotten sick 3 times in the last week! I hope it's a fluke and it starts to calm down from now on.
I also still can't tell how much of my belly is bump and how much is bloat.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I have definitely hit the nesting stage. I want to buy baby things and clear out the spare bed room. But every time I got into the spare room I get a little overwhelmed with what to do with all of the stuff and where to start. I need to form a plan...

Any new symptoms or changes? symptoms seems to mellowing out a bit, but that could be that I am making more of an effort to eat frequently to keep the belly happy
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not totally pregnancy related, but I have a second interview for a job on Thursday and I really hope I get the job. I have been looking for almost 6 months and honestly, it is hard knowing that I am pregnant and knowing I am going to need time off in the spring. I plan on working after the babe's born, but I am worried about being able to convince an employer that I am committed to the job, you know?

Rants/Raves/Questions? I hate one of the people I work with. She is older and miserable and has the attitude that her way is the only way. I am so over her and wish I could quit almost every day I am at work. She is stressing me out.
GTKY: Favorite guilty pleasure tv show? I am a TV junky and watch almost all of them. Lol. I love fall TV and can't wait for all the shows to start up soon. All time favorite of course is greys anatomy. I just wish Derek was still on the show

@Burrberrymum You should call tomorrow. If I don't get a call back for a time sensitive appt I call back these second day. Dating scans arent really as accurate after week 12.
