Pregnant after 35

Hi Ladies,
I recognize some of the names on here and am so glad you all made it over here! I was on TTC over 35 for way to long and left earlier this year because of challenges with my husband staying on board with TTC#2. It was heart wrenching to leave our whirlwind life that we became to know of going to multiple RE's, genetic testing, multiple pokes and prods...you all know the deal. But i left the message boards a few months ago thinking we were done. My last straw was going to the acupuncturist, taking herbs and cleaning up my diet and lower sugar. I actually came off my Metformin!
Fast forward through some drama.... I got my BFP Friday morning and got my bloodwork drawn that afternoon. I was only 9dpo, cd23! I was excited and terrified all at the same time. Got my results today (Hcg- 41, progesterone -11). I called OB today and pushed for a redraw today because I have had to do progesterone suppositories with my 2 previous pregnancies. They had the order in for the hcg and not progesterone so I really urged the lab lady to ask the DR for progesterone because it had been previously low. (can you tell I'm a nurse? and a pushy one at that)
So ladies, fingers crossed!! I'm happy to be here and can't wait to see what you all are up to! Let the board stalking begin!
