My UO: People telling me, the teacher who has spent the last two days in sweltering heat with no breeze inside my classroom that, "it's not that bad" or "no different than when we were kids" while their own children are dressed in hoodies and jeans because it's freezing in their fully AC'd classrooms. We had a girl pass out in her chair in class today and another kid puke everywhere because of the heat. Both were dressed appropriately and drinking water. One classroom clocked in at 94 degrees!
@BrennansMom2012 oh man DH used to teach high school and he had a classroom where the Windows didn't open and the wall of windows faced the sun and couldn't change the thermostat because it was county controlled - it's so miserable! I'm so sorry!
