And the sore throat has been going for a week now.....I have my normal sneezing, running nose allergy symptoms, and a headache that drives me bonkers sometimes
That's what I was thinking at first...but it seems to be getting worse because now I have a minor cough. I'm going to call the Dr this morning to be on the safe side. I'm a big time worrier (FTM) and I am paranoid something will effect the baby. I don't think I have had a fever at all which is good.
The good news is...it'll pass. I need to increase my fluids and rest, and I can take Tylenol and plain sudafed or Tylenol Cold and Sinus until this bugger passes....she said typically 7-14 days tops so I should be better soon. The down side? The headaches could be separate from the cold, but it is what it is. All worth it to get this little munchkin. Hoping to be better soon...so happy I have the next 2 days off so I can try and sleeeeeep
I came down with a cold earlier this week too. I didn't call the doc because I didn't have a fever, and all was pretty normal cold symptoms. I didn't take anything except a little tylenol to help with the headache. I always get headaches with a cold, ugh. It sucked, but i'm feeling better now.
Feel better soon. I am not looking forward to these starting. I had a ton of colds with my twins, and there really isn't much you can do. Tylenol, fluids, rest and a neti pot are probably best.

I hope you feel better soon! I caught my DH's cold when I was bout 4 or 5 weeks, and I had it for almost a month! It was absolutely awful. I didn't take anything aside from a little Tylenol here and there, and since I didn't get a fever I never called my doctor. If you do get a sore throat my pharmacist said halls were safe in early pregnancy, but you could check with yours to be sure.
