Re: Thursday Ticker Change 8/25

  • This is for those of us with an EDD of:
    4/6
    4/13
    4/20
    4/27

How far along are you? 5 weeks

    How big is baby? Appleseed

Appointments this week? First OB appt Aug 26, I expect it to be mostly paperwork.

Symptoms? Not too bad this week. Super tired and I always need to pee but the nausea seems under control :)

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm super irritated (and probably hormonal) by people from other bmbs coming over here and bitching at us. Like really, would you interject yourself into a conversation among random people at the mall. Probably not. Go back to your month and leave us alone.

GTKY:Have you had to make any big lifestyle changes to accommodate pregnancy? Quit smoking? Gave up skydiving? I haven't given up too much (although I'm missing sushi today) but my biggest lifestyle change has actually been trying to eat more. I'm terrible at remembering to eat and have been know to go entire days with little more than coffee and a granola bar. Now that I'm back at work I'm trying to be very purposeful in eating on a regular basis.

  • How far along are you? 6 weeks!

How big is baby? Ladybug (Ovia)

Appointments this week? I had my first appointment on Tuesday and scheduled an ultrasound for next week :)

Symptoms? Peeing more, a little nausea, and fatigue.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant, my 7 months old STILL wakes up 3 times a night to nurse and it's really not helping this fatigue.

GTKY:Have you had to make any big lifestyle changes to accommodate pregnancy? Quit smoking? Gave up skydiving? I don't smoke or drink and I've been a SAHM since DD was born so I haven't had to make any changes at all.
  • @allybadry Your rant was exactly what I almost posted in WTF... We're fine over here in April!
  • How far along are you? 6 weeks

How big is baby? 0.25 in or the size of a sweet pea

Appointments this week? Not yet, 2 weeks to go!

    Symptoms? Nausea, fatigue

Rant/Rave/Questions? Definitely agree with @allybadry on this one.  Also, the fact that I keep missing this original post and creating a second Thursday ticker change thread.  :D  Can I blame it on baby brain?

GTKY: Have you had to make any big lifestyle changes to accommodate pregnancy? Quit smoking? Gave up skydiving?  I'm sad because I'm losing my craving for coffee.  Damn nausea.

How big is baby? The size of a ladybug.

Appointments this week? Nope. Not for another three weeks.

Symptoms? Nausea, sore boobs and fatigue

    Rant/Rave/Questions? @allybadry I agree!

GTKY: Have you had to make any big lifestyle changes to accommodate pregnancy? Quit smoking? Gave up skydiving? Not really. A lot of my lifestyle changes is mainly things I eat or drink. It will be a while before I can drink a bottle of wine in one evening. Haha. @Beckyf321me too! I tried drinking a little coffee earlier this week but i ended up dumping most of the cup. :(
  • @Beckyf321 I was looking at the spreadsheet and didn't recognize too many of the names for Thursday due dates, those that I did recognize I hadn't seen for a while so I don't think there are too many of us Thursday girls around these days. The post gets pushed down pretty quick especially when old posts get bumped up.

@Caressa1 I can't imagine doing this with a LO that is still waking 3 times a night! My little guy is just over a year but has been sleeping through the night for a while. Does your LO at least give you some decent naps during the day?
  • @allybadry She naps 3 times a day for 30 minutes each time but she has to sleep on me! I want to try to start sleep training soon so she's STTN before I get too big and uncomfortable.
  • @Caressa1 Gosh that sounds rough! I found The Baby Sleep Site really helpful with sleep training and getting healthy sleep associations started. They even have samples of month by month schedules to help you gauge when LO should be awake and when she should be sleeping.
  • How far along are you? 7 weeks!

How big is baby? a blueberry

Appointments this week? I have my first appointment next Thursday!

Symptoms? fatigue, increased urination, sore boobs, nausea and vomiting

    Rant/Rave/Questions? hmm...nothing right now I don't think

GTKY:Have you had to make any big lifestyle changes to accommodate pregnancy? Quit smoking? Gave up skydiving? Nothing too big besides cutting out coffee, sushi and lunch meat.

I haven't been able to add my info to the spreadsheet yet but did do the intro thread. We are due on April 13th!
  • Looks like I belong in here. I will have to make a ticket for this little guy soon :)

How far along are you? 8 weeks

    How big is baby? raspberry

Appointments this week? I had a viability u/s yesterday and all is looking great. HB of 163 and since I'm not sure of my lmp, we moved my due date to April 6th.

Symptoms? just the progesterone they have me on making me completely ragey. I'm not nearly as nauseous as I was with my first LO, so that is so refreshing.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? nope

GTKY: Have you had to make any big lifestyle changes to accommodate pregnancy? Quit smoking? Gave up skydiving? I'm a Sommelier, so wine tasting is out, lol. Everything I've sipped has tasted awful, even if it's perfectly fine, so there's no desire to sip anyways.
