(Clear) Dawn dish soap and Oxi-clean powder. Make a paste and rub, rub, rub! Rinse with (cold!) water, and repeat if necessary. Make sure to rinse out all of the Dawn before adding to the washing machine. If it's especially stubborn, soak it in an Oxi-clean solution. This has never failed.

Will give that at try. I tried Oxi-clean pre soak (warm water) and then in the washer but some still showed a slight stain. Thanks!
Sunlight bar soap. Soak in cold water as soon as you can and then rub it vigorously. Then just throw in the laundry as usual. This stuff is amazing (and cheap!). I feel like I should buy shares in it lol.
Last night DH and I were talking about parenting and what we expected it to be like and he says, " I expected blow outs to be a daily thing..." Thank the Lord they are not a daily thing in our house...hahaha
Those recommending the sun, you haven't found it fades the rest of the color?
Nope! I only leave it out for about an hour. At most two. North central Florida so it gets super bright. (As I'm sure you're familiar) It also works by laying in a sunny window from what I've read, but I haven't personally tried it.
Also, I rinse IMMEDIATELY in cold water and then soak a few hours before rubbing with dawn. Since Thomas almost never has a non-blowout poop I've gotten lots of practice perfecting my technique!
Third vote for the sun. For stubborn stains in whites, I dip it in the pool and leave it to dry in the sun. The chlorine/sun combo is great. It also works on sweat stains on DHs workout and undershirts.
