Need middle name suggetions

We find out the sex in a few weeks, but I need middle name suggestions for our boy option Ronan N. (last name has two syllables and a strong Christmas connotation).

I've thought of Beau, Wren, and Hawthorn, but I don't think DH likes those very much. Please help?

    Whoops sorry can't read. Editing to say that I like Ronan Hawthorne out of the three options. I like it better with the E. It looks incomplete without it to me. I've never heard of Wren as a male name and I don't think it sounds good since it would be a double R sound.

    @SmrBrd2012 I meant Ronan is the first name for sure, the other three suggestions are for middle names.

    I'm not a huge fan of your middle name choice. If you have a Christmasy last name, I'd stay away from anything that sounds like bow. Wren is a girls name to me, and Ronan Hawthorne is a whole lotta name. Maybe a more classic/Biblical moniker?

    Matthew, Luke, James?
    Another R name like Roy, Reese, Ray?

    @TheMcC3 Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately Dh is staunchly against any "rhyme-y" R names and we aren't religious, so we can't really use those suggestions.

    I'm assuming your LN is Noel. I don't like the double N sound of Ronan Noel.

    Thanks for the suggestions, I'll run them by DH. Joseph might work because that's my adoptive father's MN.

    @Mamabeagle it's something very similar but not that exactly (different spelling/extra letters). Funnily enough, that sound is exactly why my DH likes the first name Ronan. He thinks it flows well.

    Ronan is a solid, but unusual, name choice.  I would look for something less "out there" for the mn spot.  Wren and Hawthorn are too "out there" to pair nicely with Ronan, especially if your last name is a Christmas-related word.

    I like the aforementioned Ronan Gabriel -- wow!  That's an AWESOME name!

    @PaukMeKiande

    I knew R names were a long shot, but I thought i'd throw it out there!

    FWIW, you definitely don't have to be religious to use a name. My husband and son have very Hebrew names, but we're not Jewish. I only mention in because Joseph has DEEP roots in both Jewish and Christian cultures. It also pairs beautifully with Ronan, and builds in a great NN. (RJ) I hope you find something you like!
