@Dannylion24@schef070911 I've heard bed bugs are not fun!! Glad it's all better now. When the allergist said, "Good news, it's not hives. It looks like bed bugs", I think I almost fainted and said, "Are you sure that's good news??". Ugh! Stay away creepy little things!!
@RachelGreene yep, I had to finally call in the 'big guns' and even then (and $200 later) the ants resurrected! I totally flipped on the guy today and they sprayed the heck out of the outside (since I'm pregnant) of the house by the kitchen window so those monsters better be history now. Good luck! Don't surrender!
@Dannylion24 We have ant problems and I'm a fan of those Terro Liquid Ant Baits. I'm pretty sure it's just borax and sugar water. The ants take the liquid back to their colony and then it kills them there.
@herewegrow I'm in the same boat! I'm planning on seeing if I can spill the beans at a breakfast or something the day after. That being said, I'm not going to stress out it does come out before. If someone announced her pregnancy at my wedding, I would be so excited for her and feel happy that she came and had a chance to tell her family members in person.
@Omie_Wise@Dannylion24 Yes to the Terro liquid ant baits. But possibly not good if you have kiddos around, as it's easy to spill that liquid out of the traps.

I'm basically an ahole....today as a total Monday Bitchfest for me. Like everything that could have annoyed me, did. Who did I take it out on you ask? The nice lady named Krista that emailed me back from The Bumb. I basically flamed the crap out of her for working for the so called "#1 app for moms" when they don't even have A17 on mobile. Is it really that big of a deal? no. but I was already annoyed and her "we will have it up soon thank you for your patience" standard response rubbed me the wrong way so ya I wasn't the nicest. Tomorrow will be better I hope.
My bitch is that I don't understand how this board got dramatic so suddenly. I don't see all the AW threads people are complaining about. Like there are 8 threads on the first page that aren't weekly check-ins, and most of them are pretty legit, like the mamas at work, and teachers ones. Others are clearly helpful or meant to spark discussion. I don't see what is wrong with the odd person asking for support. If you don't like the thread, don't reply, it will quickly drop off.
Having the same weekly threads all the time isn't my cup of tea, i find it boring. I don't have any objection to it occurring of course, because this board serves more types of people than just me. It is fine to encourage random threads to be in the randoms or chatter or whatevs, but telling someone scared of an MC the she shouldn't have posted seems kinda cruel to me. It also seems like a good way to scare of new members who could be valuable additions to this community.
Surely there is some middle ground here. We can have organization that people and enjoy and also the random threads that people feel like posting. And I feel like this board is still ramping up. We don't know what the majority of people want, because we don't know if the majority of people are even present here yet.
@Taylor72 that has been me for the last week. When I don't feel good I get annoyed at everything! Except my 9 month old. He's just too cute! However I babysit my friends 3 month old foster they are trying to adopt. I agreed to watch her until a spot at a daycare opened before I found out I was pregnant again. Well come to find out a spot isn't open until Feb... I can't do this until Feb. I barely make it through the week! She is honestly the whineyest baby I've ever met. (Please God, don't let this baby be that whiney) nothing I do makes her happy and she cries all the time. Add constant nausea and my 9 month old who is into everything. I just can't deal with it right now. Btw it makes me feel like the worst person ever feeling this way about a helpless baby.
