Waxing. Seriously it is so nice. I stopped shaving my bikini area over 5 years ago (never looked back) and stopped shaving my legs and underarms about a year ago, though I do admit to shaving those areas in a pinch and regret it every time. The hair grow back so thin after consistent waxing. There is a chain store near me that runs a full body special for $65. Brazilian only is $30. Legs only is like $20 I think. I have a high pain tolerance, but I have not noticed a difference in pain since being pregnant. If you're considering it, ask around for a good reputable place. Whatever you do, don't go to a regular nail salon and expect a good wax. They may be ok at eyebrows and upper lip, but anything else has been a horrid experience for me.
^^^I agree, I don't shave down there anymore, but the pain intensified once I got pregnant, OH BOY. I keep telling myself I am building pain tolerance for the big day! They also have a 7-pack special which lasts me all year (ends up being $50/session). I have my last one this year in mid-Nov. YES-pick a place that specializes in wax/hair removal techniques.
Still no issue with shaving the legs, but like PPs I only have to shave the bottom 1/4 of my legs. I sit down on the side of the tub and lift my leg across to the other side of the tub, seems to do the trick.

@em01092 I did 2 years pre pregnancy without shaving between. I stopped when I found out I was pregnant and switched to shaving, so I'm just concerned I've waited too long and it will be more painful with thicker hair and increased sensitivity.
I might see how the electric razor goes and decide from there if I can keep that up.
@dmontgo hahahaha I feel ya girl, I'm the same way.
Right now I put my leg on the corner of the tub, and steady myself between the shower wall, and the shower door, and slowly bend over. I'm usually dizzy at the end. And I told DH I want to get rid of the shower doors....sooooo we'll see what I end up doing haha.
@andra81410 I second your sister's method! That is how I generally tend to my lady bits. When that gets too hard, DH will do it because he's a team player .
I haven't had issues shaving my legs yet, but we have a built-in bench seat in the shower that is a little higher than the side of a tub, so I can get my leg up there and my belly inside my leg for now. I don't recall having issues shaving my legs with my first pregnancy (thanks prenatal yoga?) but I'll get DH in on it if need be.
Thanks for all of the suggestions. Since I can't use Nair due to allergy to it, and waxing is definitely not for me, I am going to try sitting on the edge of the tub and shave before I start to shower. And maybe get my FI to invest in an electric shaver for me. He got a really good one recently that wasn't very expensive at all. Maybe we can get one of my own.
For those who get their lady bits waxed. Pre-pregnancy I was all about the wax, now I'm scared to go back since I heard with increased sensitivity it is way more uncomfortable. Any thoughts or advice? I've avoided calling the salon, but with my belly growing I will either have to make an appt or rock the bush.
This. I was all about waxing before and went often. But now makes me nervous. I went ONE TIME years ago right before I started and it hurt like a MOFO. I don't want to repeat that experience.

@Kate08Young Nair would be great, except that I am allergic to it! Oh well, I guess I'll have to try something else.

I just got this electric shaver in June and love it!
