Whomp. Posted this in the randoms ~5 min before you created this thread!!
Super happy we achieved bassinet sleep over the weekend (two partial nights in a row!). If LO was asleep chest to chest, ONE of us had to be awake to monitor her...however, now that she is in the bassinet, we can BOTH sleep soundly. Team No Sleep is starting to get a little bit more sleep! We did have to put her in a straight jacket to achieve the win - the SwaddleMe pod.
That being said, it didn't start out as a win. DH was on duty from night until 330am, but LO was incredibly fussy around 230am and only calmed down when I woke to take care of her. It took another hour to put her down.
With my induction scheduled for tomorrow at 5pm I had to kick it into high gear the last week to get everything done on my list!
I finished a few small DIY projects to finish off the nursery. I can offically say EVERY thing is done in there! Pack n play is set up in our room, ready for baby. Lawn and pool had soon extra TLC done this weekend.
I am SOOO close to finishing my "nesting" list. Every room, except the laundry room which I hope to finish today, has been extreme clean: dusted, floorboards cleaned, shelves organized and wipe down, closest organized!
Now time to relax and eat food until tomorrow!!!

Went to Ikea on a busy Sunday and DH and I are still married. I call that a win.
Ikea is the total opposite for us! We go there and it's seriously like a date night lol. Last time we were there for over five hours! I can see how the chaos of a Sunday at Ikea can get to a person though
This might seem like a lame "win" but I'm super excited about it. Yesterday DH and I finally picked out the last furniture we've been needing since the move. One piece was delivered last night, and the other two are coming today. Now we will finally have places to put everything away, instead of half unpacked boxes everywhere! I cannot wait until this house feels settled.
Also I finished repainting babies dresser, and am mostly done with the storage chest for her room. Pretty soon I can organize/ fully decorate in there too! Ahhhh, progress. Finally!
The dog and I spent Saturday swimming at my in laws house, while DH and My in laws planted grass seed at our new house. Perk of being super pregnant/win for me was not having to help with any of that.
My parents came over yesterday & helped us deep clean the kitchen, living, and dining room. It looks amazing and it was such a huge help! One of my biggest stresses is getting the house really clean & organized before the babe gets here, so this made me so happy.
Oh, and we also got our hot tub delivered & electrical work done. It's bittersweet for me since I can only go in for limited soaks (and the temp can't be too high), but I'll be damned if I don't enjoy that thing before I'm postpartum & can't go in for 6-8 weeks!
We officially finished our nursery! I was mad after I hemmed the curtains perfectly and they shrunk a few inches after washing them but you can't win them all. But the dresser is organized, everything is put away and it's all ready for baby. All I need to do is install our second car seat since we don't know which car we'll be in when we go to the hospital.
I posted in randoms but also deep cleaned our bedroom. Now I want to clean the living room carpet and have everything else super clean for when d-day comes (kitchen, bathrooms, etc). Can't stand coming home to a dirty house when I'm gone for days.
I reached the point where I need to wake up poor DH every time I want to roll over at night... Or get up to pee... Can I count that as an accomplishment of truly pathetic proportions?
We had our all day birthing class and hospital tour on Saturday which was great. I'm happy DH and I got to do that together. We built our stroller travel system and we purchased our remaining registry items. Stuff has already started showing up. I love Amazon! Tonight we hung some birdhouses in the nursery. I know it's not the weekend, but it's definitely a win for me!

Oh, and LO is now *12* days old!!!
