How far along are you? What's new with your little babe?
17 weeks today! Baby is the size of a pomegranate. 

Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby?
Today I stared going through all my DD's clothes and toys and sorting what we will keep and reuse, donate, and trash. I'm trying to clean out the 3rd bedroom to start putting together the Nursery. 

Rants/Raves/Questions/Symptoms:
I have been really good at cutting out caffeine lately. Like really really good which has been rough because used to drink a ton of coffee. Today grocery store shopping I stopped and decided to get a tall iced coffee because I wanted a treat. The lady at Starbucks totally judged me and told me I meant to say decaf. I said no, I want the caffeine, it's allowed in moderation. Don't tell me what to do with my body lady! Rant over. 

When's your next appointment?
Next appointment is our anatomy scan on the 12! We are so excited to find out if we are having another girl or a boy. 

GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? 
For me, it's been a bubble bath. Every. Single. Night. I don't know what it is but I love it lately. I put good smelling salts in and watch and episode of Gray's Anatomy. It's perfect.

How far along are you? What's new with your little babe? 17 weeks 1 day now (posting on Sunday). Baby is growing bones!

Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby? Ughhh, no.  I'm seriously slacking this time around.  I did update the pregnancy book and actually take a bump pic but that's it. I think once we know the sex I'll be more motivated to prepare - start stocking up on clothes and whatnot. 

Rants/Raves/Questions/Symptoms: belly is getting itchy!!

When's your next appointment? 9/19, the Monday after I'm 21 weeks.  But our anatomy scan is 9/9!!!

GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? I'm also a huge Grey's fan! Currently watching season 10 with DH; I haven't seen past that because I was in grad school for season 11 and busy adjusting to mom life for season 12 and didn't have time to catch up. I also love to read and knit.

21 weeks I think.  He is kicking a ton and I'm able to feel and see him kick from the outside which is my favorite  

Have you done anything this week to prepare for the baby?
We bought our 3 year old a new car seat which frees his up for the 1 year old and means our baby seat is available.  I also mentioned starting to clean out the guest room to DH so I guess that means I have to start doing a little bit at a time.  

Rants/Raves/Questions/Symptoms:
Rave: My grocery store has car delivery.  I grocery shop online and pull up at a designated time, pop the trunk and they load me up!!! I am in love with this.  The fee is really minimal and my husband and I both agree it is more than worth it to avoid the hassle of taking two toddlers grocery shopping.  I having a feeling I'm going to love it even more when baby gets here. 

When's your next appointment?
I have an appointment tomorrow but they are pretty standard and boring now. 

GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? 
I love getting massages once a month.  It is my way to reset for the following few weeks.  I'm also pretty strict about bedtime so my kids are in bed, asleep by 8 pm.  That's when I love to veg out in bed and listen to talk radio or watch my favorite TV shows except right now everything is on hiatus

Not much right now except I'm ready for some cooler weather!

i still have yet to find a doctor in our new state. I need to get on this. Sigh

I love to have a pedicure.
