breastfeeding When to wean

My baby is 8 months old. I am wondering when I should start weaning him. I work so he gets formula during the day. Inurse inthe morning before I go to work and at bedtime. Any advice

For me both times it was just right. DD is 8 months as well and I just recently weaned her. People always say not to decide on a bad day so I took my time and decided when we were doing well. For me it was just that she never wanted to nurse during the day, my supply was dropping, and more and more she was preferring bottles. So we just went to bottles mostly and gradually cut out nursing sessions until my supply was mostly gone. With my first breastfeeding just didn't work for him but we found the right formula and it just clicked, that was what worked.
