Symptoms coming and going?

anyone else have symptoms come and go? Im 7w 2d , 2 days ago we had a U/S and healthy baby with a 138bpm heart rate..... and my neauses subsided a lot the past 2 days. Occasionally i get a wave of it but its not as constant... I was so super sick with my first... So the fact that its less this time is making me nervous.... Any thoughts?

Re: Symptoms coming and going?

  • Don't read too much into it.  My symptoms have come and gone at times over the last several weeks.

  • Symptoms, or lack thereof, are not indicative of the health of your pregnancy.

  • I feel scared no breast tenderness today and its the only symptom i had. 9 wks 4 days
  • I'm going through the same thing. Been years since I had a baby and some days I feel normal other days I have symptoms. I would try not to stress it.
  • Everyone is different and rarely does a person have every single pregnancy symptom. Also remember not having your period is a symptom of pregnancy ;) also symptoms can come and go try not to compare yourself to others it can be very anxiety provoking

  • Yes.  Symptoms do come and go.  I am 8w2d and I was sick this morning for the first time.  Weeks 6 and 7 were fine, week 5 was very difficult and I was exhausted.  Boobs are still not sore.  But the baby is there with a strong heartbeat, confirmed by US... so dont worry about symptoms or the lack of.. in general, try not to read much into anything - your body is dealing with the unexpected, and you dont know how it will react - just hang in there :)
Me:  35 year old FTM, a busy city banker living in London, and a constant worrier.
My DH:  French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever.
Our baby boy:  Due on 17 April, currently 37 weeks.  I can't believe it - I made it to full term!!!!
Last measurement:  3150 gs at 37+1!  This is going to be a big baby :)
  • I was told by 3 different medical professionals on 3 different occasions that you can't judge the progression/healthiness of a pregnancy just by looking at the intensity (or lack thereof) of symptoms. One even told me that she has so many patients who tell her they don't feel pregnant! So I wouldn't give this too much thought..just consider yourself one of the lucky ones :)
