Appointments this week? nope. It's hard to wait 4 weeks in between appointments, yet at the same time when I realize my appointment is next week I'm just like wow no way has it been 4 weeks...
Symptom changes? I wish... still battling nausea and fatigue.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I've recently discovered the bullet journal and I LOVE the idea. Went and bought a journal yesterday night and am so excited to start. I really hope this isn't one of my projects that I end up abandoning after a couple of weeks because I think it will be really important when I transition to being a SAHM to keep me on task throughout the days.
GTKY: What is your dream job? Zookeeper/animal trainer. I really missed my calling because I was being practical when I picked a career. Oh well I wouldn't have met my husband otherwise and now I've been promised puppies and chickens and maybe a goat are in my future so I'll get lots of animal time!
Me: 33 | DH: 34 Married: October, 19, 2015 EDD 2/22/17 DS1 born on 3/2/17 EDD 3/8/20 DS2 born on 3/10/20 EDD 11/24/23 (Formerly Marriedhamstermom Feb ‘17)
Appointments this week? No appointments this week.
Symptom changes? I've been more sick lately, I'm not sure if it's just a bug going around or baby not liking what I've eaten.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Does anyone else have a harder tummy or is yours still squishy?
GTKY: What is your dream job? Being a homemaker that can take care of my family and not depend on others to help (grandparents, daycare etc). Otherwise, it would be to own my own company.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
Symptom changes? Nausea seems to be subsiding (not that I ever had a ton...but what I had has disappeared). A lot of headaches though, and sleep is getting more difficult.
Rant/Rave/Questions? My dogs were up three times last night...and my maternity pillow is arriving today. They've decided they're ready for a nap now, and I just wish that pillow were here so I could nap SO HARD with them. At least I get to work from home the rest of the week.
GTKY: What is your dream job? I have a pretty sweet job right now that is probably the closest thing to a dream job I could have in a corporate job...
How big is baby? Avocado - but these fruit analogies are a little misleading -- the baby may be as long as an avocado but it doesn't weigh as much as an avocado.
Appointments this week? I had my monthly checkup with OB. All is well - heard the heartbeat had some blood work etc.
Symptom changes? My nausea is completely gone and my energy has returned. It's an amazing world! Oh and my appetite has returned. I'm really starting to feel like my self again.
Rant/Rave/Questions? @marriedhamstermom Oh - I like that Bullet Journal idea. I will look it up! My other rant/rave is that my DH and I have been on the fence for some time on looking for a bigger house. But trying to plan for our first baby and buy a house is becoming too stressful for us, so I think we are going to stay until after baby is born.
GTKY: What is your dream job? I think I pretty much have my dream job (international lawyer). Only other dream job would be to permanently travel the world (with baby!) Is that even a job? More like what I would do if I won the lottery.
About me: Me 35, DH 36 (Unexplained Infertility, possible PCOS) TTC for 3.5 years. 10 clomid cycles (TI & IUI with ovidrel triggers - all BFN). *Loss mentioned & Trigger warning #1 IVF May 2015- resulted in 15 5-day Blasts - SET (fresh) with BFP. Ectopic Preg @ 5w2d, treated with Methotrexate. #2 FET, Sept. 2015, SET MC@8 wks with D&C in November 2015. 13 remaining blasts sent for PGS testing. 1 did not survive the thaw. 6 came back normal from PGS. #3 FET 5/16/16 SET - BFP 5/20/16 Beta's looked great and so did ultrasounds- officially released to my OB! EDD 2/1/17.
Appointments this week? Had one yesterday, now nothing for 4 weeks. Long wait.
Symptom changes? The headaches are real.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I leave for vacation in 3 days! Literally have so much to get done but focus is at 0% at work since closing on Monday and leaving on Saturday.
GTKY: What is your dream job? But maybe running a non-profit cause that'd be cool. But mostly the home eating chips one.
Symptom changes? my symptoms are mostly unpredictable. One day I am fine the next I can't get out of bed. I would love some consistency. My newest symptom is that I am uncomfortable at night. I feel like it's way to early to feel this way, but my stomach is so tight that its is stopping me from sleeping. That combined with not being able to sleep on my stomach or back (my two preferred positions) makes for restless nights.
Rant/Rave/Questions? My rant is my husband's job. It allows me to pursue my career which is unpredictable, but it also requires a lot of travel for him. I am concerned going into the fall that he is going to be gone all the time. He has be so incredible this entire pregnancy and such a rock, I am realizing how much i depend on him. He already knows come next spring, the travel has to decrease immensely at least for a couple of months.
GTKY: What is your dream job? My dream job is my current job with more money. I am an independent film producer and love what I do. The only problem is it's a true labor of love. Not a lot of money in independent film.
Me: 36, H: 37 FTM, 2 Furbabies married 03/17/07 lived in Houston, Austin, Los Angeles and NYC due: 2/15/17
Rant/Rave/Questions? Going back to teaching and being pregnant sucks. I am just soo tried and I forget things all the time. It also does not help we do not have air conditioning. So it is 90 ish today and I just want to jump into a pool.
GTKY: What is your dream job? Right now teaching at a school with air conditioning :P Also a school that pays well with good maternity benefits and supports us teachers and does not do high stakes standardized tests. AHh a girl can dream right :P
@bdesterhouse my tummy is still pretty squishy but I'm a week behind you. I'm not really showing but I can tell my stomach is a bit rounder than it used to be and some of the bloat that at first would be gone in the morning and come on by evening is permanent.

Saw my perinatologist on Monday. Baby looked great.
Still horrible arthritic pain. They found too much protein in my urine so now I have to do a 24 hour urine test. She really doesn't think I'm at risk for pre eclampsia because I didn't have it with my first but she wants to be sure. I'm totally fine with that.
My dad is in town for the first time in a million years. He has finally met my son. It was awesome.
Probably a ballerina. I would love to have that kind of muscle control/ flexibility.
How big is baby? Lemon, although on Monday, this kid measured almost a week ahead.
Appointments this week? Nope, nothing until mid-September.
Symptom changes? Symptoms have subsided big time. We be chillin' now.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Started back at school today and literally the FIRST thing someone said to me when I walked in was, "do we have a bun in there yet?" I was just like, "no, ma'am!" This lady is like a hundred years old and every time I see her she tells me the story about how she didn't know I'd gotten married until my sister came in to see me one time last year. Like, she's told me this story about 40 times. So I don't mind her asking - she's just kind of senile and harmless. Then, about an hour later, I found out that another of my colleagues is expecting a baby in January. She's showing like crazy and I'm not showing AT ALL, so I feel a lot more confident that I'm going to get away with this for longer than I'd thought.
it is super comforting to me to see so many teachers who enjoy their work. educators get such a bad rap in this country. Both my parents were teachers and many different levels and my mom is currently a superintendent. MIL was also a teacher.
they all also have ridiculous retirements, which they totally earned

Had my one and only appt with my Boston OB-GYN. Super nice lady but a bit scatterbrained. Couldn't find the hearbeat on the doppler, so she busted out the mobile US. Nice bonus for SO to see the house mouse, because we will miss our Sept appt.
Symptom changes?
Did vomit again on the weekend, which was super amazing news to DD. She didn't stop talking about it for awhile. But other than that nausea just when I don't eat for awhile.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Getting random twinges around my CS scar, which worries me for when the show really gets on the road. How bad will it hurt once baby is getting up there in size?
GTKY: What is your dream job? Scientific illustrator, but somewhere in the Caribbean.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I chopped my hair super short yesterday (I generally keep it fairly short). I LOVE it. I'm finally back into looking half way put together.
Rant- I really need maternity shirts.... Ugh!
GTKY: What is your dream job? I would love to own my own business making clean products... Soap, lotion ect. I would also sell clean products I didn't want to make like makeup. And teach classes on how to things yourself like "how to henna your hair" ect.
Re: Wednesday Ticker Change (8/17)
Avocado.
No appt til next week.
Less nausea and exhaustion - starting to feel movement more frequently.
School starts soon! I'm still working on getting my room and lessons together.
Honestly, I don't see myself being anything but a teacher. So I guess it is my dream job.
