  • I hate when DD wakes up grumpy. Go back to bed if you are going to act like that.

    Could it be her molars?

  • Nightmares? Is she due for any teeth?

A has woken up between 2:30 and 3:45a.m. the past two nights screaming and it's killing me. I hope you figure it out soon!

  • Yes!  I have a wake and screamer too!  She has gotten better now that she is 31 months, but from about 24 months to 30 months, I could count on at least 1X a week and sometimes 3 or 4X, having her scream/cry, sometimes for 45 minutes.

Super fun.  I would take her to the playground and leave her in the stroller in the middle of the play feild while I went to talk to my friends at the playground.  The other little kids would try to make her laugh.  If another parent went near her, she would get so mad that you would just see the stroller shake.  After a bit, she would get down and play and then wouldn't want to leave.  My ped says this is normal for smart, high strung kids :-)

  • A bad dream maybe? Sometimes Audrey will wake up from a dead sleep beligerent and we have to usually hold her tight and she will fall back asleep eventually.

  • Yep, I thought it was over but B only has one of her damn molars, THREE more to go! Do you know what this means? I won't sleep until she's 30!

  • My DS has been like that too and they are only days apart - he cut two teeth a couple of days ago and seems to be cutting another.  He constantly has his hands in his mouth and he never puts anything in his mouth.  A real treat to live with, huh?  He has been really grumpy and miserable.  Yippie :-/
