37 weeks and my belly looks smaller?

Just about 37 weeks and I woke up yesterday morning to notice my belly is quite a bit smaller. I'm travelling with my mom at the moment and she commented on it also as have several others unprovoked. I am wearing a dress today that I wore a week ago that was tight on my stomach and now is pretty loose. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I don't remember this happening before...is anyone else experiencing this?

Have you felt any significant movement? Maybe baby moved down or is in a different position. Or maybe you had a big poop? Lol. I wouldn't worry too much. Unless you lost fluid, I don't think anything is really happening in there

I thought the same thing today when I looked in the mirror.  Baby has definitely moved down a bit and I noticed and my clothing is fitting a little looser towards the top of my bump.  I also feel a little more comfortable, I can breathe and there isn't something poking my ribs (or so it felt)

At 37w I remember tops feeling a bit looser and it was because everything had moved down.

I had actually gone in yesterday due to feeling a significant decrease in movements and some cramping as well as a concern my water may have broken. Checked me and all was well. So, it must just be that baby moved way down and is conserving energy for the big day?

My belly is also smaller looking and it is because baby has moved down, like others have said. When my OB checked me last Monday she said his head was really, really low.
