9 weeks symptoms gone

Hi I have been extremely tired, nauseous, sore boobs, food aversions, and the verge of throwing up until yesterday. Now I barely feel anything. My boobs still feel big, but not sore. Last night I didn't get up to pee once in the middle of the night.  I had some sharp shooting pains yesterday in my lower right groin that freaked me out. Now it's the second day without symptoms and I'm trying not to not stress, but I feel like I can't wait one more second. I go for an ultrasound tomorrow where I will be 9 weeks.

  • Wow, crossing all fingers & toes for you. I know it's tough but try to stay busy today? Glad you have an ultrasound tomorrow!

  • I can understand why you would stress but I have friends who only had symptoms for a few weeks and then had completely healthy (even dare I say it "easy") pregnancies. I am really happy that you have an ultrasound so soon. It will put your mind at ease. ❤
  • Maybe you're just past the initial blahhhhhhhhh. I've been having pain my my groin too. I'm not the worried about it.  I had it the entire pregnancy with ds and it was never a concern to the docs.
  • That happened to me like last week...for 2 days no symptoms, I was all depressed. But then the bloating and nausea was back on day 3, never so happy to be bloated  . Hoping that will be your case as well. Sending good wishes.
  • So I read somewhere that often the placenta starts taking on a lot of the work of hormone production in week 8, which is why symptoms tend to dissipate in week 9. Maybe this is a really good sign for you! FX for a happy and healthy ultrasound for you tomorrow :)
  • My first pregnancy was largely symptom free and all was well! This time, most of mine have gone away over the past week or two (11 weeks now). I wouldn't worry until there's a reason to. Feeling better isn't a reason IMO. Enjoy the reprieve!

  • My symptoms disappeared at 8 1/2 or 9 weeks.  Some of them came back, just less intensely, and now I've got new weird ones, like what I think is round ligament pain.  And I've only now, at 10 weeks, started peeing every 5 seconds like everyone else has been talking about.  Don't worry about it -- there's always something new and weird around the corner.
  • My Dr. told me that symptoms peak around 8-9 weeks and then start to taper off (she was giving me a morning sickness pep talk).  Maybe you're just getting lucky and moving into the blissful symptom-free stage a bit early! If you are then I'm jealous!

  • I was feeling awful during weeks 7 & 8 and then week 9 I started feeling much better. I was worried a little at first also but I'm finding that all my symptoms are all still here, they're just not as constant as they previously were. I've also get sharp abdominal pains sometimes. My OB said as long they're not constant/debilitating and there's no bleeding it should not be concern. I hope this puts your mind at ease a little. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and wishing you all the best for your ultrasound!

  • Keep us updated! Maybe you'll find out that you are further along than you thought? That happened to me last pregnancy at (what I though was) 9 weeks, but turned out to be 11. Some women have zero symptoms in the first trimester. Mine were super mild with baby #1 I would almost say I had no symptoms for days at a time as well. Hoping that all is well!

  • I had a day last week where I had no symptoms. Totally freaked me out. When they came back the next day I felt really relieved!!

  • Hope your ultrasound goes well today! Symptoms don't have to be present for a healthy pregnancy. Every pregnancy is so different, my sister was never sick or any symptoms really with any of her 3, and for my DD I was throwing up non stop, now this pregnancy I have not been sick at all and not a whole lot for symptoms and I'm so glad! Hopefully you get some peace of mind today!
  • My MS went away for two glorious days and now it's back! Sometimes you get a break :)
