All I know is I hate the faded ugly blankets they give you in the hospital to swaddle your baby.  So I'm definitely planning on buying a pretty pink one for ours. I'll still use the kimono that they give because it's just easier to change and stuff. And because most pictures are taken while baby is swaddled or in only a diaper.

I don't mind hospital blankets, but if you get one thing for baby, get the Aiden and Anise swaddle blankets!   The larger sized ones are the bomb.   They make for sweet baby swaddle photos too.
