Would love thoughts on our list of potential boy names and suggestions. We tend to prefer traditional names in large because because they are more likely to "exist" in both French and English.
Middle name will definitely be Thomas (family name). Last name is hyphenated, total of three syllables and rhymes with "call".
- Jacob Thomas (we both actually love this name, but REALLY don't like the NN "Jake" so we're probably not going to use it)
- Gabriel Thomas (unfortunately rhymes with the first last name in French - is that a big problem?)
- Caleb Thomas (DH loves this, I'm not sure)
- Owen Thomas (doesn't exist in French, but still an option)
Others that we like but have been vetoed:
- Noah (too popular in Quebec)
- Benjamin (not a fan of NN "Ben")
Re: Help with boy names!
Suggest: Matthew, Jack, and Charles nn Charlie.
Suggest: William, John, Theodore, Robert
Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
My furchildren, Dorothy and Johnny
IUI #1 Feb 2012= DS1 born 11/2012
Unmedicated BFP (first post-weaning cycle)=DS2 born 9/2014
Unmedicated BFP (first post-weaning cycle again)= EDD 11/2016
I'd like to suggest Lucien as an option - as NN could be Luc/Luke.
A.J.M. - Born 6/11/13 after 17 BFNs including 1 failed IUI.
Maybe Baby #2 - Started TTC Feb 2015. Called it quits after 29 cycles.
I like Caleb the best, followed by own.
I second thinking about William
I'll ask my husband what he thinks about William. I'm hesitant because it has been very popular in Quebec over the last few years, but I like it!
