There are only 3 muffins left. I want to eat them, but I know FI will never let me live it down if I've eaten all 24 of them in a 3 day time frame. So there they sit, taunting me.
I wanted to watch the Olympics but they're only showing the heats with German athletes and focusing on them. I guess the same thing happens in the US, but at least America wins something... I had to watch a half hour of judo before they switched back to rowing, ugh.
There's a really cute swimsuit on sale on Macy's website for $24 ("retail" price was $98, then it was marked down to $72) and I really want to buy it, but I already have one swimsuit I haven't worn yet. Maybe I can justify it because it's strapless and I'll need to breastfeed when we go to Hawaii in February...
@ingoscj I don't know what you're usually into TV wise but Stranger Things was good. I also liked The Fall and then after that, I was in a sci-fi/Gillian Anderson mood so I started X-Files.

Thanks for the suggestions @MRSCORKER I've seen Stranger Things and I really liked it! I'm finishing up Limitless right now, but I'll have to check out The Fall next.
I had to go to a bridal shower today and I kidnapped the bride's 3 year old and took her home with me. She napped in the car so now she is wide awake, but the shower was outside in the heat so I'm exhausted. All I want to do is take a nap!
@MRSCORKER - we just started Stranger Things earlier this week. I'm still a little confused about what's going on lol.... But we're only a couple of episodes in sooo
Funny how it's the people who bought stuff from the registry that are so careful about including gift receipts and the people who went rogue that didn't include them.
My parents showed up at my place for dinner over an hour early while DH and I were frantically trying to clean. My parents ended up helping us clean a little. I'm irritated because when I go visit them I offer to help with, for example, cleaning dishes after dinner, but they always staunchly refuse to let me help. Now I feel like an asshole.
@TurtleMomma - don't feel bad... They're doing it because they love you! And declining your help for the same reason. You offered your help... Asking for theirs, then never offering your own hand would make you a little bit of an asshole lol but not what you're describing
@TurtleMomma don't feel bad. My mom came to visit once and she took over cleaning the dishes, and cooking and everything else, when she was visiting me. I told her I felt bad, but she explained to me that it's the mom in her that wants to take care of me, even though I'm 32 years old. When I offer to help her, she refuses too, and sometimes I just take over and do it, and then she tells me she ends up feeling like the asshole, because again she is suppose to take of me, not the other way around....or at least not yet.
Anyone else got a one sides kicker? I swear my left side is bruised internally I just want it to start killing the right so I can feel some pain relief.
@Mintz1982 yes, same here on the left (it's always either towards the side of my stomach or just under the ribs)...but when I get a break from all that movement I miss it...I find the headbutting/punching the cervix and bladder much more uncomfortable though
My petty problem is that real life things keep coming up and I am so behind on bumping, I feel like I'll never catch up!
@UponAStar16 I'm the same way usually. It seems like I'm always here when it's quiet, but when I'm at work or busy, the board blows up wth activity and I have no idea what's going on. Lol
Aaand, I just used my phone camera's selfie view to check the status of my disappearing belly button and discovered some new stretch marks growing on the bottom of my bump.
This was a mix of many emotions (feeling big, feeling uncomfortable, tired, exhausted, screaming stepkids in the backseat of the car)...but as soon as we dropped off the stepkids, I just wanted to go get a boba drink...and we got to the boba place, there was a line about 30 people deep. I legit cried because I still wanted the boba, but didn't want to stand in line.
So this is probably a mix between a Monday bitchfest, a #whymypregnantselfiscrying and a petty problem Saturday (or Sunday)

@AllyTheKid That situation calls for making more, eating as many as you like, and hiding the excess (the freezer is a great hiding place).

Pregnant or not, I would cry if there were 30 people standing between me and my boba.
