My company is under 50 employees but will grant a leave of absence up to 60 days with 30 day extensions (although it doesn't specify qualifications for an extension). I can use any of my available PTO during that period and it also seems that I can get benefits from NJ. Since I can probably only take 12 weeks away from work, I am thinking I will try to work until delivery, do the 6 weeks of disability benefits, then 6 weeks
Family Leave Insurance benefits. Does this make sense? I think this is the best I will be able to do but I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this.
