DH vent/rant

I am so pissed right now. DH gets home from work & i notice he has blood behind his ear. I ask him what happened he laughs & turns more & i see he has a tattoo!. 

Im not mad that he got one. Im mad @ the fact that he did it without telling me. He did it during work hours. He didnt give me a heads up, nothing. That is something i would've really liked to have been there to experience with him. Instead he did it with co-workers. 

I know sounds silly to be mad, but im all about firsts & doing things together. & he did it without me. His first tattoo without me & without telling me. I know if things were the other way around he would be furious.

Im hurt he did that without me. Id be less hurt if he fucken told me. Ugh!

Do you usually do a lot of "first" type things together?

Lurker here...I am all about first's together,too, so I totally get it and would be the same! Unless the tattoo is a dedication to you and was supposed to be a surprise, then not.cool.at.all.

@mill1020 yes guys are dumb! & yes everything together. We also always tell each other what we're gonna do if its something huge like that. Then he has the nerve to ask. "Whats wrong?" really dude?

@AiramJ glad you know how i feel! & no it wasnt for me he got the scorpio sign.

My husband called me from the chair when he got his second one, I was pissed because we were supposed to go together and I was jealous as hell... Also I still don't have mine, I should sell something he likes, jk, kinda...

Lol hey you just gave me an idea lol...atleast he called you when he was there, not that it makes it better. I didnt know until i saw it. Im still kinda mad today lol. I had a dream last night i got 3 tattoos lol. Thats how upset i was i dreamt about tattoos all night haha

I do that normally, lol, I drew up the back piece I want when I was like 21, I'm 30 and I still haven't been able to justify spending that much money on myself so him getting his back piece added onto when he knew I really wanted one sent me through the roof...I think I'm going to go get a smaller old school rose for my DD with her birthday worked in to satisfy my tattoo craving, lol, I'm pissed all over again right now, I thought I was over this! Poor guy is gonna come home to a wife he pissed off like 5 years ago... On a related note my DD noticed his back for the first time the other day and it was hilarious, she spent like 20 minutes enthralled petting him like "was this always here? Does my back look like this? Who drew on daddy?" Lmao

Lol im sorry i made you remember & be mad all over again. Im 24 & have been wanting one for 4 years but haven't gone. i want one when a friend or family member gets one, i get all hyped. Then a week later im like "eh whatever" lol. & see i want the twins & DDs fingerprint outlined in a heart. I think incorporating children in tattoos is awesome. DH wants DD to draw a picture & then he wants to get it tattooed. & thats hilarious, i bet she thinks long & hard.. My boys try to pinch & scratch off my moms, brother, & SILs tattoo. They get like anxious when they see them lol.
