1st Trimester

Morning sickness....heeelllllpp !!!!

I'm about 7 weeks and am stuck with morning sickness way worse than my other two pregnancies.
I'm eatting small bits all day, taking diclectin religiously, lots of fluids, which is all making me feel very very bloated. But im still feeling so so sick, and on top I'm doing nothing but sleeping I'm so tired.

I need tried and true methods to cope. I'm chasing a 2&4 year old around and this is all getting the better of me. When does this all go away?! Help please momma's!!!

Re: Morning sickness....heeelllllpp !!!!

  • Well for some it doesn't go away for some it goes away by 12 weeks others it lasts longer. Everyone's experience is different. I'd suggest talking to your ob if you are really struggling

  • I have also been sooooo nauseous all day long and tired it is ridiculous.  I chase after a 4 year old all day and can barely make it, so I don't know how you do it with 2!  I recently noticed, for me at least, that eating egg drop soup for lunch has really helped me in the second half of my day.  It sounds gross I'm sure, but it is broth based and full of good proteins.  Worth a shot!

  • Try preggi pop drops. You can get them at Target. I was really not liking food last week and these helped me. They might not last ling, but it's better than nothing!
  • Vitamin d (fifteen minutes of sunshine a day) and sea bands were super helpful my last pregnancy. I found wearing the sea bands at night really helped.

  • Thanks guys, it's not as bad if I keep busy outside and oh I'm loving the long sleeps at night, those won't last I know lmao. I will talk to my midwife on my visit come Aug 24 and see if she can help with anything. Morning sickness is slowly fading and I'm questioning how far along I am because my symptoms are changing dramatically and feeling like I'm hitting second tri, or getting close to. I can't wait for an ultrasound!
