I'm not sure if this will count with you guys or not for "famous" but I know Chris Pfaff... or "drama" he's been in several reality shows like rob and big, Rob dyrdeks fantasy factory, and ridiculoussness. All the same people lol but anyway I went to school with him my whole life. I could have "dated" him in 6th grade (lol) but already had a "boyfriend" haha. I've got pictures of him from cameras I had for school field trips and stuff. Because our last names were close alphabetically we were in the same homeroom a lot. I hear he's worth 8 million now and has his own clothing line, it's funny when he comes to town because he's like the town "celebrity"
My husband wasn't friends with, but interacted with LeBron James during highschool sports. Kind of interesting I suppose.
@BumpasaurusRex that's close enough to me lol... I often wonder if people from new York or Nashville, or California bump into celebrities. That doesn't happen in ohio lol
I've seen a lot of famous people in public, but the only ones I've ever met are Stevie Wonder back in the late 80s in a hotel and Carrot Top in an airport, back before he had muscles and a spray tan.
I tend to shy away from celebrities because I can't imagine how annoying it would be to get approached by random strangers all day.
Kinda like randos touching your belly or asking about breastfeeding while you're pregnant I suppose!
I'm a performer in NYC, so yes, quite a few! I got my first taste in college in L.A., when I used to do movie junkets where I would see a film and then interview the cast. My first really big interview was with Nicolas Cage (he's weird). Some of my favorites have been Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell and Annette Bening.
Married: 2011 TTC #1: 3/2016 Me 39 - DH 44 BFP 5/27/16 EDD 1/30/17 DD born 2/3/17
We work out at D1, at a location that Peyton Manning co-owns. I was walking towards the towel rack and noticed some super tall skinny guy in a hat like 10 feet away... Noticed it was Peyton, and then pretended I didn't notice him like a spaz. DH said 'hey' like a normal person, and then I freaked out that Peyton would think I just got a towel to stalk him. I hadn't realized until that point how much of a dweeb I am, lol.
Not exactly famous but I've met a few people from the Real World. My college had Ace and CT from Paris and Cameron and Brad from San Diego come to visit. CT was a douche rocket, we were out at a bar and he got behind the bar and asked who wants shots. Of course the crowd went wild, then he poured and after people drank he said they were how ever many dollars each. Everyone walked away without paying.
Also, when I was on spring break in Mexico Tanya from RW Chicago was there. She came and randomly sat down with us on the beach and told us we could come party in her room. None of us were impressed and then my drunk friend spilled a drink her at a club and she was pissed.
I've seen a few people on the streets (I'm still convinced I saw Ben Affleck running the first year I moved to Boston) and in Broadway plays (although I don't think that counts). I've also touched Donnie Wahlberg a an NKOTB concert a few years ago, haha.
@beern I've met Carrot Top too. He used to go to the gym by my house. I met him after the muscles, spray tan, and guy liner though.
I used to work at Planet Hollywood and House of Blues in my younger years. I met quite a few celebs, but my favorites were Dan Aykroyd and John Goodman.
We went to Paris when I was in high school and this is really going to date me lol. I was in the bathroom of a restaurant and I could hear my mom talking to someone and having a weirdly personal conversation for a public bathroom and the voice sounded so familiar. When I came out it was Drew Barrymore and she invited us to come over to her table to say and see her husband Tom Green lol. My brother loved his show so we took a picture with them. She was super sweet.
I have also met a lot of old Orioles players growing up through activities my dad participated in.
Oh and this is a really obscure one but my friend Marc works for Mr. Robot as the "hacker authority" like to make the hacking stuff be real. That's like a D lister but I'm so proud of him
Missy Elliot has a house down the street from my work. We've done a couple emergency root canals on her. She was actually just here again about 2 weeks ago. She is super nice and very down to earth.
Oh also, I used to know Ryan Pinkston when I worked with his mom. He's not super famous but he was on Punk'd and he's been in some (cheesy) movies like Soul Plane and some other TV shows. His brother is the field producer for Ellen.
I've met Jim Tressel and several Ohio State players who went on to play in the NFL, but I feel like those are more like local celebrities since football is so big where I live. But I did see Arnold Schwarzenegger at the local mall here when he was in the town for the Arnold Classic!
I was in SuperCuts at the same time as Red Sox great Jason Varitek. We left him alone, but there was a kid wearing his shirt there and he was super cool about signing it. I also went to a Foo Fighters autograph signing and passed Jay Mohr on the street in NYC. H met Mohammed Ali at an airport.
@Xstatic3333 - I'm super jealous. Varitek was my absolute favorite player for a long time. When I worked for the Red Sox team store in the park, I missed meeting him one day by like 15 minutes and I legit cried.
Otherwise, nothing that special. I've met a handful of Redskins players (including Chris Cooley), walked past Tara Reid in a casino, and since I live in DC I've either met or been in the same restaurant/close proximity to several politically famous people and shook President Obama's hand (but I wouldn't say I've met him).

I used to work in a mall where a lot of local celebrities used to frequent. Mostly sports people, but I've met Brooke Hogan, Tony Dungy, Alex Rodriguez, a number of Tampa Bay Bucs players, and Steven Stamkos.
Having lived in both LA and NYC, it's pretty much a weekly if not daily (especially in LA) occurrence. I work in the entertainment industry and hubby works in sports, so between the two of use we've seen/met tons of celebs. But my biggest one is that I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to school with Beyonce. Crazy right?!?!?
Me: 36, H: 37 FTM, 2 Furbabies married 03/17/07 lived in Houston, Austin, Los Angeles and NYC due: 2/15/17
I didn't meet anyone famous but I've ran into Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family and Viola Davis at Disneyland. I was too scared and stunned to say anything to them and I also didn't want to bombard either one since they were just enjoying their day at Disneyland with family.
I've met Jason Momoa, Justin Hartley, the guys that played the Weasley Twins, George Takei (who is SUPER awesome, btw), Hayden Panettiere, Doug Jones...and Jeffery Star (does he even count?)
Jeff Bagwell from the Houston Astros was married to my cousin for a number of years and they had 2 kids before divorcing a few years ago. Another baseball player I happen to have known is Anthony Rendon from the Washington Nationals. We've hung out on multiple occasions since he played baseball with one of my best friends. They still keep in touch but I haven't seen him in about 5 years.
I've met a few famous people but I can't tell you about them because of HIPAA. I used to work at Cedars-Sinai and that's where all them celebrities go.
I have met my favorite band Hanson several times. A few times at their shows and once a music festival they were attending not playing at. I also ran into Ed from the Bare Naked Ladies twice not in a concert settings. Always thought that was strange. I have also met my favorite author Neil Gaiman. I also knew Michelle Branch before she was famous (she was a Hanson fan. Small community). And my husband and I almost hit Mario Batali while he was walking down a street in a small town in Michigan. Strange run-ins with random celebrities. LOL
I met Jimmy Carter in Spain. It was pre cell phone days so no photo. My friend and I were traveling (I studied abroad that year) and had helped one of the secret servicemen with some translation in a shop. When we bumped into him a few shops later, he introduced us and we talked for a few minutes.
I also saw George Bush Sr. cross a road in front of me in Kennebunkport. Random.
Married - 7/29/06 Ben and Maggie - 4/10/09 Mia - 6/16/11 Surprise! due 2/23/17
I have a family member who worked for the secret service and I have met Bush Sr, Clinton and Bush. I was in NYC a lot growing up so I've seen a lot of celebrities but never said anything to them. In high school I ran into Jesse Eisenberg at six flags and hung out with him and his friends for a little. He was super nice and not really famous yet. Also I worked in a surf shop in NJ that was frequented by Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen, my IL's live on the same street as Bon Jovi.
Ben Carson???? Can't decide if that is even worth mentioning. I trained where he used to practice. And DA Henderson- probably no one else will know how he is, but he is an amazing person. Celebrity in the public health world- he is the guy who helped us eradicate small pox. Obviously my celebrities are a little different, lol.
Justin Timberlake hugged me once before they were even CLOSE to being popular. I've met MANY local athletes - Troy Aikman, Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Nolan Ryan, and several other non major ones. Kidd Kraddic - popular radio DJ that died several years ago. George W Bush walking to his mail box and when he owned the Rangers. All of New Found Glory. Saw Mike Tyson at Rocky on Broadway, didn't talk to him tho. Camron Mathison let am sit on his lap when he was on All My Children (swoon).
My mom used to drag me tons of autograph signings and the local athletes started to recognize me. lol it was that bad...
A long time fav tv show host and I got to following each other and talking on social media. He invited me to his house to see the cult perform in his livingroom. I brought my dad, and Ian astbury was singing literally a foot and a half from us as we fangirled maniacally. It was incredible. Also, meeting and hugging the host was a highlight, sweet and wonderful man.
My husband has met SO many celebs, but I have only met a couple. I met Drea DeMateo, from The Sopranos, at a bar in NYC years ago. I was dating DH at the time and we were out for a drink. She was in the booth next to us and DH recognized her and went right up to say hello. He hadn't said anything to me about it and I had no idea who she was at the time, even though I watched the show. She was very nice, and laughed as she gestured to me saying, "She doesn't even know who I am." I shook my head and said, "Sorry, nope!"
