Hook effect

POAS addicts... Does anyone know when the hook effect can start to affect the darkness of the test line? I used my last Wondfo today and the test line was significantly lighter today at 6w2d.

Not sure about when the hook effect happens, but wondfos made me think i was having a CP early on. I got a clearly there positive, but the line was light so I figured I would take another in the morning to show DH. Well for 3 days after that I was getting stark white negatives. I do not trust the consistency of them, although it's hard not to pee on them when you have so many! I was reading reviews and there were a lot of inconsistencies with them. 

Didn't answer your question, but hopefully it can ease your mind! Fx it's just the damn wondfo or hook effect and nothing else!

I do the wondfos but the clear blue tests are much more clear. I had a similar experience so I got my husband to pick up a clear blue and I slept much better afterwards.

I have some clear blue digis and one lonely Wondfo left. Maybe I will wait until it's diluted and use the last one. Ugh. Why did I test????

Thanks for the info, @SienaC . I know that's it's a thing, but I wasn't sure how early it can start. I just didn't experience it with my first and I tested every day until my 1st appointment at 7.5 weeks. Just a bit worrisome coupled with my lack of symptoms.
