    Next milestone/appointment?
I have an appointment on the 19th, which will be a regular appt plus my diabetes test.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: Baby was not her normal, wiggly self this morning.  She made me nervous, but then I layed on my side and drank cold water and she finally started wiggling.  She's been good all day, but of course I feel more nervous now.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: What's one exciting/fun/interesting thing that you've done/planned this summer? I went to South Carolina with just my 2 year old for a long weekend with my college friends.  We haven't all gotten together in years. So it was awesome!

    Next milestone/appointment? August 30th

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I'm still waiting to feel better! I'm tired of being tired and not feeling good... but happy that at my last appt my blood work showed I was anemic anymore and I finally started gaining weight!

    Questions? No

GTKY: What's one exciting/fun/interesting thing that you've done/planned this summer?

Ive been stuck on bedrest so have done anything fun with the kids yet but DH asked me today what I thought about taking the kids and dogs camping for a few days before school starts so I'm excited!
  • Weeks: 23w6d

Next milestone/appointment? Regular check-in appt on Thurs morning. I'm looking forward to getting to hear the heartbeat again since my anterior placenta means that I'm still feeling minimal movement.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: My hormones/emotions have been crazy lately! I work full time and have been holding in all these crazy emotions, but I worry that it's affecting my ability to do my job. I'm an admin assistant and will be interviewing for the sr admin position next week and I can't help but worry that my emotional state makes me too unstable to do that job (otherwise I know I'm more than qualified). I don't want to be that stereotype of the woman who can't properly do her job because she's pregnant.

    Questions? No

GTKY: What's one exciting/fun/interesting thing that you've done/planned this summer? A few weeks ago DH and I went on a road/camping trip to City of Rocks National Reserve in southern Idaho and Yellowstone. It was so nice to get away from it all and just be us for a week. (I highly recommend City of Rocks, btw!)
  • Hello, everyone! I've finally decided to participate in this. ****TW**** My husband and I dealt with three losses (one MMC and two CP) before our sweet pea Anthony. We're so grateful for him. I feel like I've been given a second chance, since my body was unable to handle pregnancy before due to being right in the middle of a battle for my life from an eating disorder. ****End TW****

    Weeks: 24w6d

Next milestone/appointment? This week we hit the first viability milestone so I have finally been able to relax a bit, and next Wednesday (8/10) is the next OB checkup.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I am craving...pancakes. I am not a big fan of maple syrup, but right now I just want to drown a stack of pancakes in it and be in heaven. My hip joints hurt and between that and my bump I have started waddling slightly. My back is trying to kill me. Between baby and my now F cups, my back hates me. We were gifted a giant bag of newborn and 0-3 clothes for sweet pea and a few swaddles. He'll be set for a little bit.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: What's one exciting/fun/interesting thing that you've done/planned this summer? The only things I can think of involve baby. We really haven't had anything for ourselves since my husband started his new job and with me being pregnant, it's a bit harder, too. He gets no time off until he's there for a year (except for the birth of his son and some time right after), so vacations are basically out even though I'm dying to just get out of town for once. My mom came to visit when we announced the sex back in June and I was so happy. All of my family still lives in Iowa, while I now live with my husband here in Florida where he was born and raised. She'll be back with my little sister in October for the baby shower. I'll be exactly 36 weeks at my baby shower, I'm really hoping I feel good.

  • Weeks: 27+2 today

Next milestone/appointment? Started every 2 week appointments so next one is the 17th

Rant/Rave/Anything else: well I passed my glucose test so no GD for me... Yay! Plus DH's Aunt has been SUPER generous with baby gifts. She has spent a lot of money on the baby and I really am just blown away by that. I need to figure out a way to show her how grateful I am for all she is doing.

    Questions? None at the moment.

GTKY: What's one exciting/fun/interesting thing that you've done/planned this summer? We did a little mini road trip last month to a few local waterfalls which was pretty cool. It's been a pretty chill summer since DH doesn't have any vacation time really this year with his new job. Next year should be more eventful.
  • Weeks: 24+1

Next milestone/appointment? Had follow up A/S on Wednesday and they went ahead and scheduled me for a growth scan on Sept 8th. Next OB is Aug 22nd.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I'm not sure this little girl will have a name. We just can't find anything we like. It's frustrating.

In other news, the tech at the scan on Wed said she couldn't believe how much she could feel baby girl kicking and punching her while trying to do the scan. She's a feisty one!

    Questions? No

GTKY: What's one exciting/fun/interesting thing that you've done/planned this summer? We took our first family beach vacation! Hubby and I have been to resorts and on cruises, but this was our first time just heading to a beach in the states for a week. We took our three year old and experiencing her joy of being there made it one of the best vacations ever.
  • @BLyn627: I'm with you on the name thing - nothing seems right!
