Before DD, we took a vacation to the Bahamas. With this one, we have a vacation planned (sans DD) to Washington DC over Labor Day weekend. It is also our five year wedding anniversary.
We're going to dublin this weekend for our wedding anniversary (which also ties in with a gaelic football match my husband wants to go to) but i would like to do a weekend away for my birthday the week between christmas & new year aswell so hopefully ill be able to convince dh that its a good idea!
I am doing Disneyland labor day weekend. My husband will not be able to join me cause of work/studying for cpa, it is just a mother and daughter trip. We will be doing a RunDisney event and running the 10k. Since I became pregnant my running has slipped, but we just did a speed walking test and could 10 to 11 min mile for a 5k. We just have to make sure we are 16 min miles or faster or you get swept up. It should be fun, they have characters during the run and we get to run through Disneyland!

I will let you know for sure If it makes you feel any better we walk faster than we run too. We could not believe our time at first. Mom was like no, your running app must be wrong I am going to check my watch and sure enough we walk faster than we run. Our running speed at its fastest was 13mins. But since I have become pregnant it was 15mins. We were getting worried about getting swept up that is why we wanted to see if we could speed walk a little faster.

How interesting! I wonder if I could walk that fast too now.
we go to London every October for a work trip that Hubby has to take and I tag along. Hoping to go again to go again this year and tag on some time in Spain. I was advised against Italy b/c of the amount of walking and discovering necessary.
Hubby travels a TON for work so he's racked up lots of miles and points we need to use whie its just the two of us and we can't travel for a some time.

@xstatic3333 and @skiingstark - RunDisney is a lot of fun! I've done three race weekends down at Disney World (I've done the Princess Half twice, the Princess 10K once and Wine and Dine half once). I always say it's the most entertaining way to run 13.1 miles! Good luck with your race! Sounds like you'll be fine with time!

We went away to universal Orlando a week ago for s few days sans kiddos. That will be our "babymoon". Wasn't really planned that way as we actually set it up before I even knew I was pregnant. But as dh will be deployed for a good portion of this pregnancy that will be the only thing besides a date night or two.
