Weekend updates? Super lazy weekend. I've pulled the "I can't do that, I'm pregnant" card twice already and I've only known for 8 hours.
GTKY: Any thoughts as to what you're going to do to help prepare your littles for their next siblings? I don't think he will really understand until closer to when it actually happens and even then I don't think it will be real to him until the baby is here.

I actually just bought new non maternity shorts for the first time since giving birth. I got my BFP a few days later. I'm guessing I'm not going to get much use out of them before switching back to maternity pants.
I'm looking forward to fall so I can wear leggings!

3) Weekend Updates- well, I made it through a birthday party for.my 2yo and a huge clam bake without being questioned on why I wasn't drinking. Last night I went out to a baseball game with my husband and a bunch of his friends and wives/gfs. I was called out at least 3 times (quietly) and twice he was told "I see she's drinking water" to which he responded "yup" with nothing further. This cat isn't going to be in the bag much longer..
GTKY helping siblings - well every time we ask.my oldest if we should have another baby she adamantly tells us "NO! We already have one!" So that will be an interesting conversation. My youngest we will get her own baby like we did with my oldest the first time around. She LOVES babies, so I'm not too worried.

And I also told my best friend. We haven't told any family yet but will when we all go on vacation together in a few weeks and after first appt! The 10 Yr old should be fine especially if it's another boy (he has 2 sisters at his mom's) my 9 month old is too young and he will be the one to share his room eventually so I think that will be the hardest part.

Weekend updates? Took DS to a few museums, went for a few runs, did so easy gardening and cleaning...did a pretty good job until the evening, at which point I pretty much just passed out on the couch while watching the Olympics.

He is very outgoing and forgets nothing, so I can just picture him telling everyone that "there's a baby in mommy's belly."

Weekend updates? backpack give away at church Saturday which I barely made it through without tossing my cookies. Then a freak accident last night when my crockpot fell off the top of the fridge and bounced off my head landing on my thumb which swelled up immediately had to go to the ER to confirm it wasn't broken but when they weighed me I discovered I've lost about 10lbs since I've been so sick so the ER dr gave me some zofran which is amazing! I've actually eaten the last 2 days
GTKY: Any thoughts as to what you're going to do to help prepare your littles for their next sibling? She prays daily fora baby and always asks if there's a baby in my tummy yet. She's even planned where the baby sleep since we often co sleep she wants to make sure her spot is safe Lol!! She's around a baby often so we'll need to work on gentle touch and what not.
Weekend updates? My MIL and FIL were in town which was GREAT because I napped a lot and didn't feel like I was putting the childcare burden on DH. DD has a lot of energy.

I probably need to buy a book about what to do. I'm going to help MYSELF by trying to get her potty trained before the new LO arrives. We cloth diaper and though I have some buffer room with infant cloth diapers vs. the all-in-ones that she wears, my husband, who washes all the diapers, would love to only be washing diapers for one kid.

Great question - I've been meaning to check out pinterest for some ideas but figured I had some time. DS is interested in babies, but I don't know how interested he'll be in having a baby in his house. I love the ideas of the baby dolls and the Daniel Tiger episode. DS loves Daniel Tiger and I don't think we've seen that one. I'll have to locate that one for him sooner rather than later!

@pammasu0909 That's good to know! I did a lot of reading on the pros/ cons of each spacing and this seemed like a good fit for us. I had pretty bad ppd last time and became a bit of a recluse so I'm a little anxious about that.
@oliviaf11 Yay for another Aug '15 mom. Did you participate much last time? I tried at first but gave up when the drama took over. I already feel like this will be a much calmer board.

Weekend updates? Worked all weekend (RN working 12 hour shifts) while DH took the boys to my in law's cottage. Lots of nausea but no vomiting.

The older 2 boys adjusted well when DS3 was born. Trying to spend some time with my cousin's new baby to help the little one learn to share mommy.
