Infertility

Where are you from?

Hi! I have gained a lot of info and support from these boards! I am surprised I don't see "roll calls" on here. Wondering if it is allowed to ask?  I would love to know where everyone is from.

I will start.  I am 41, live in NJ and I am currently with south jersey fertility in their Burlington and Marlton office. All their staff have been great.

:)
Me: 41  DH: 44  DD: 9
IVF: ER 7/16 40 follies, 23 eggs, 19 mature,

Well, I will bite. I am 36 (about to turn 37 next month) in northern Delaware. My RE's practice is called Reproductive Associative out of Christiana Hospital.
  • I am 31 and in NJ. I am also at south jersey fertility. Explains why we both got blankets  ;)

I am in the Marlton office but will switch to Sewell if we have to do another cycle as I moved at the end of June.

  • Good idea @bells52000!

I'm 30 and in NC, though I'm original from So Cal.  We're at Carolina Conceptions, which is the clinic my OBGYN referred us to.  I like them so far but they are a big clinic and don't always have it together.  From what I hear they get results though, which is what I really care about.

  • Nice to meet you all! I am not sure why this helps me make people feel more real to me, but it does!

@Sunnshine. Ahh! That makes perfect sense! I like it there! I hope you do too!

@ale9687. I was at repro of nj before I switched over to sjfert. They have an office literally around the corner from me. Nice to have another nj person

@simple petal I would like to switch coasts and live near Monterey in my next life!

  • @bells52000 my FIL lives in the Burlington area so I know the drive you would have if you stayed at rscnj. I go to the Eatontown office and that one is about 25 min from me.
  • @babylonghorn16 I was in San Antonio! I visited RMA in 2011 and they were wonderful. Ultimately, we decided against IVF at that time and just had my tubal reversed with a different doctor. I was impressed with RMA though. BTW, go Spurs go! If it was not for my family, I would move back to SA in a heartbeat!

@bells52000 Yes, Monterey is beautiful! The coast is a wonderful place to live, but very expensive. I am in the valley, but only an hour or so from the bay. The only time I have been on the east cost was a high school trip to Washington DC. I would love to travel all over though.

  • @Simple Petal oh wow, that's crazy!!! Small world! Glad you had a good experience with RMA! I'm actually a Mavs fan that recently converted to a Spurs fan... so it's gonna take me some time before i shout go spurs go lol! But San Antonio has a great community! Great to meet you!!

  • Hooray @Stars2016. Not sure where you are in your journey, but after your egg retrieval you get a cozy blanket.  Using mine right now...actually trying to because my dog is hogging it.
@ale9687  I grew up in ocean county. My gyno is still out that way and he was the one who recommended Dr Ziegler. He said he is great.  I tried the office close to me but it was a different doc and I just didn't get a great vibe. So I switched.

I am happy for all the replies! Maybe it will help some newbies who want to find a clinic  near them.  I feel like that was a huge decision! At least at the time.

    good luck everyone.

i like most of the docs there. So far I prefer two Peter and umm, I can't remember the other one at the moment. Lol.  The only think I don't like is how you don't see the same doc for the whole cycle. I feel like the 8 days I was stimming I saw 4 docs and they all have slightly different thoughts/plans.

  • @rmarble23  I go to Boston IVF in Waltham too.  I see a doctor out of the Quincy location, but only go there for consults with him (or he is kind enough to call and spare me the drive).

I'm in the MA area (west of boston).
